Flat out in Finland | Sim Racing GoPro POV | EA Sports WRC

Flat out in Ea Sports WRC newest sim racing title. I'm driving the Opel Kadett at one of the Finland stages. Filmed using a gopro Hero 10 black. This run took a few attempts after finding the limitations of my driving and avoiding trees. Watch me set a top 20 world time whilst driving flat out on the edge.

Is that the v1 or v1.5 vmn handbrake? I'm looking at buying this or the simagic tb1. Undecided.

Hi Tim, it's the v1.5 VNM, and the shifter is simagic Q1s I'm very happy with both. I think the handbrake looks the real deal, too and the mounting options are good. I had an Aiologs before, and although that was extremely well made, it just didn't feel as immersive as the VNM.

@@averagesimracergbr awesome. I was going to get the q1 shifter but heard it’s really loud. Have ordered a Jinx at double the price. I hope it’s worth it. Hoping I can get the vnm 1.5 in stock.

It is loud but you can control how much force is required to actuate it and that quietens it a bit. They do resonate through profile rig though. I've no experience with the Jinx ones but heard good things. Trakracer have stock of the vnm and also a sale at current with around £20 off, also pretty sure there's more discount if you sign up too

The biggest reasoning for me going for simagic shifter was I wanted some form of mechanical feeling which it has with the planetary gear which gets rotated each pull. My previous shifter felt very "unrealistic"
