This always makes me think of the old configuration of the AMA Championship...when the riders had to be proficient in several disciplines. Flat track gave birth to some fantastic road racers back then.

This all seams very familiar. Did they do the same with the Indian Scout a year or so ago?

Fastest 20 minutes in my life. Really well-edited video. Bikes look trick, and the riders seemed a good bunch. Would love to get a 2019 update during the season, and at the end.

So its a slower version of Speedway? Its still cool, love the löook of the bikes but yea looks kinda slow in comparison :)

Wait until you grow up in to the half mile and mile tracks and then talk to me about slow.
@doubdoesntknow6 жыл бұрын
@@bazonka1 and that's relevant because?...
@bazonka16 жыл бұрын
@@doubdoesntknow because you are running bikes meant for much bigger, and faster, tracks on a track they weren't meant for. That and these aren't exactly world class riders means they do look a bit slow.

@@bazonka1 but... Speedway runs on the same type of tracks?... And I didnt say i don't like it. I think its awesome. Geez dude
@bazonka16 жыл бұрын
@@doubdoesntknow you're the one that said it looked slow. I was merely saying look at it in it's natural environment.

Harley Davidson is telling Indian they need to restrict their horsepower. Why? Indian is winning all the races. Harley needs to up their game, not restrict everyone else. Psh.
@outlaw7x776 жыл бұрын
Harley ain't telling anybody anything! Its not good for any sport to dominate. It's not just HD. Kawasaki, Ducati, and other teams too are putting a lot of effort into this sport and its no fun for anybody to go home losers every week after giving it everything you have. You wonder why Yamaha and Honda quit? Go #69!!! Oh yeah; fuck Polaris!!!

Another libtard Polaris fan boy spreading fake HD news. It is not HD. It is the new rules .

The Indian FTR750 is a "cheater". For 85-years AMA Class C racing has required "production based" engines. The Indian FTR750 is a pure race engine made in Switzerland. Polaris disgracefully gerrymandered the rules to get the bike homologated. A travesty.

You all can say whatever you want about the motives I had in posting. Fact is, HD needs to get it's act together in a dozen different ways and stop expecting 100 year old designs to run with the 2016 designs. It's not just Harley pushing for restriction, I get that. It's the governing AFA body because of a dominate brand who's gotten it right. No one said other brands couldn't run a proprietary dirt racing machine, and the consumer public only benefits from the technology in that. Instead of dragging the rest down, why not bring the rest up?
@DennisMerwood-xk8wp6 жыл бұрын
The current Harley engine is not a 100-year old design. But it does meet the 85-year rule to be based on a production engine. Unlike the Polaris engine which only exists because Polaris paid of the AFT Twins Rules Committee to change the rules in their, and only their, favour. Everybody knows that Indian FTR750 is a "cheater'. They "got it right by" bribing the Rules Committee.@@exothermal.sprocket

Well done to Gary Birtwhistle and Survivor Customs for winning the series on a Ducati! It's a shame Polaris came in and spoiled the series
