Trolling an openwater reef in the fall produces a couple big lake trout.

Since Lake Trout have really sensitive gills that tear easy, its nice to see these professional anglers handle them horizontally and not vertically by the gills. Really nice catch and release Aaron. I suspect this big lake is God's Lake however he films a lot on Kississing Lake.

Do the Flatfish lures you are using sink or float? What depth do they run?

I know you say that you can catch anything on a ten pound line, is that what you were using for these large fish?

+Grant DuBridge - 40-65# Power Pro....the lure you are using dictates the size of the line moreso than the fish size. The flatfish is like a musky bait with how hard it pulls and how heavy of equipment it requires to use it properly.
