@@kishel7 Wreckfest is so lame compared to this. The atmosphere in this is so wild and energetic. Wreckfest feels so dead. And there's no nitro system even! Always so satisfying to gain nitro from smashing into things or other racers. And then smash into other racers with that extra boost and watch that health bar crumble. It feels amazing.

Between Flatout 2 and Test Drive: Eve Of Destruction, those are some of the best racing games ever created. We shouldn't forget about Jak X: Combat Racing on PS2 either... I earned a nickname among my friends back then: "Peacemaker" (after the in-game weapon of the same name). I was a big and strong boy back then... "Big" hasn't quite gone away, as I'm 5'10" and weigh 290 Lbs (I don't look that heavy), however, I don't believe I am as physically strong as I once was.

the one thing that confuses me about this game, is that why Street was the "Top Tier" cars, instead of Race. For Derby, sure, they were meant to ram the heck out of one another, and vice versa with Race. One (of many) that I can think of, is that they try to shed as much weight as they can, making them faster, but also more fragile than their "normal" counterpart.

this game came out in 2006 and not only is it my 2nd favourite racing game of all time but it had better destruction physics than most racing games today, the only racing game that has better destruction physics is Next Gen car game. The physics are 50* better than Beam NG drive.
