Low rise can be very highly priced in big cities and most cannot afford it. It is rare to see new low rise construction from developers near city limits. I too prefer low rise against high rise due to quality of life they provide with freedom and more average space per person.

One more plus point in low rise is you can easily go to your car in quickest manner as compared to big basement parkings in high rise. In fact washing your car in low rise is a breeze

Even for a 270 sq yard plot size with 4 floor. Density per acre comes around to 80 units per acre. Density comparison is not exhaustive

If construction quality is good high rise is better... However in India good construction quality is rare and hence high rise becomes a liability in the long run... Low rise don't care about construction quality as maintenance is easier... In case of earthquake all low quality buildings will perish...... Considering the unscrupulous nature of Indians in general low rise is a better option...

Don't agree. The views are better from a highrise, noise is also less. Highrise has more amenities, more security, better social mixing opportunities etc. etc. Highrise is the future in Tier 1 cities atleast.

@@LegoNinjagoIN visit few low rises n see the amenities, securities, n social mixing....all these points are taken care of..u need to come out of your shell n check various offerings in the market before generalizing....there are many gated low rise with all amenities which are there in high rises plus very low density compared to high-rise...let me know when u are available, will show few in NCR...

Quality wise low rise are way ahead so if you are buying for living instead of renting your property low rise is a better option for long term. High rise apartments are not for long term they do not have a life of more than 15-20 years.

One most be aware of investing into aged properties be it CGHS or Condominiums.The quality of construction has to be verified and one must check if the structural audit of an aged property is available.Secondly ascertain if you can ever get a profit on an aged property whenever you decide to upgrade .Else better not to invest in old properties which are asking outrageous prices just for location and nothing more in terms of the quality

Totally agreed, high rise and that too so close to each other is a mess, fuck the views after few months views will become irrelevant as it's gonna be same everyday. Moreover some high rise has so many other high rise societies near by so the views are nothing but concrete buildings.
