OMG ITS A CODE I SUBMITTED! Ok this may have been a battle to see which cheater was better but I like to think I made some good plays on Doom to get the victory haha. For context, by the last round there was some chats being sent which made it clear to both teams that we both had Hanzo cheaters. Playing Doom I didn't get killed enough by him to know for sure so I just played the game out as normal. Hope you enjoyed this one! I have another cheater code but in Masters, they had a cheating Orisa/Bap at a minimum but after the game I verified they were grouped in a 5 stack (code: 3E8AVK)

If you aren’t having fun with the game, just stop playing for a while to see if anything gets fixed. If it’s causing you stress, don’t be afraid to stop. The 6 years weren’t a waste of time if you were having fun and loved the game. It’s a waste of time now if you aren’t getting any enjoyment out of the game anymore. I used to play Dead by Daylight and had over 1000 hours and spent money on it but then things changed and I stopped having fun. So I quit playing and haven’t played for over a year now and haven’t regretted it. I started playing OW more and other games I enjoy.

The amount of videos available spiked recently because cheaters have started cheating in quickplay too. You see them everywhere. I also think Blizzards lax enforcement of bans for cheating have caused it, too. I had a semi-blatant cheater in my qp game with a couple of friends last patch, even though we rolled him I saw that he was aiming weirdly in replays and was tracking center mass almost perfectly. Never got the confirmation that he got banned

OW1 use to be one of the most popular games to cheat in. Their use to be a website somewhere that tracked how many hacks were being downloaded for X game and OW was always top 3. So seeing OW2 have this issue isn't shocking.......still sad tho.

@@kaiseremotion854 I wanna be a Hanzo and Widow main. My aim is always crap and so I try to compensate with Genji or Cass. Somedays my aim is godlike and I literally play like I had cheats, hitting evey shot (body shots doe) and I also miss the lamp or the rezz, sometimes even turrets. But after the couple misses, I learn and focus more on hitting the stationary targets, and I get them more often. This cheaters are more lax on focusing to hit since they know the software will do it all for them, and NEVER hit stationary targets, let alone objects

My favorite ones were when I predicted where she'd end up going around a corner and one in blizzard world when I saw her translocate and figured she was going for a health pack so I squinted and went "Probably right... there" and headshot her out of invis and killed her. I was like "OHHHHHHH!! I'm not hacking I promise." I'll also easily pick Pharah out of the sky and outsnipe Widows and be like "Wow, I think my aim is getting better" but then I'll be like "Hmm... hope no one saw me take 3 shots to kill that Symmetra turret when there wasn't a fight happening..." It's like I'm getting better under pressure but worse without it. 🤔

Yep, before the hot fix patch that nerfed some of the tanks, I said "I fucking hate this patch" and got silenced for two weeks and lost my endorse level 5. I had just returned to overwatch and didn't know about the cursing thing, so when the hyper buffed tank patch came out and I started losing more and more games. EVERY game both tanks went like 37 and 2, I showed my discontent with that sentence and was silenced. Edit: Meanwhile the next day I found a racist homophobe and it took days for him to get punished meanwhile, I was punished pretty much immediately for saying a bad word about the patch.

I met a guy a while back who was part of WTFGWAR's community. A British fellow who always claimed he could develop hacks. I suspect he might be the same person behind the Apex and Overwatch hack clients. He mentioned, "I only cheat when I am bored or when I am trying to sell a high-level account or rank up a friend." I recall hearing his voice in an Apex video interview by Zeus, and I'm almost 100% sure it's the same guy. I hope this information helps because the only way the rage hackers will stop is if Overwatch 2 invests in a better anti-cheat system. PS: The reason people are not being banned is due to the ban waves. I dabble in code and understand how easy it is for developers to tweak a few lines of code to bypass the game's security measures. - Ban waves create a cat-and-mouse game, and the only way to address this is by investing in more robust anti-cheat software. - Not doing anything is equally as bad.

if devs want to troll hackers, they can write a code the makes hackers bright color appearance. and turn it on and off on random weeks. that way the hackers have to figure out what in their code is bugging the appearance in game. and why did it disappear. it will also show to everyone in the lobby that this person is hacking.

From what I've found about how some of these cheats work, they go undetected during match due to an extra software used with the menu called "interception", which basically emulates the moves the cheat wants to make into pure mouse movements, basically "laundering the adjustments" so that the anticheat just doesn't care, and even so, there's still free cheats without interception, I tested some out of curiosity with some friends, they're not the worst, but you certainly couldn't rage hack with them, my free package had walls and "aimbot", though it missed most of the time, it served better as an "aim assist", there was a trigger bot too but that one had so much reaction time lag that it just always missed. Blizzard gotta step it up

Ok, this might be a hot take, but Overwatch should implement an unrestricted, enclosed Cheater v Cheater environment, a matchmaking pool of exclusively cheaters who won't get banned, punished, or anything of the sort. Hear me out. I'm not saying get confirmed cheaters and throw them in a special queue. No, I'm saying as a separate game mode, where people have to disclaim that they're gonna use cheats, and they must allow Blizzard to analyze any and all data related to the game, comms, etc. They would only be put with other people on this special, cheater queue, and would be encouraged to disclose how their cheats work, provide files and all of that. Basically, have the cheaters work for you, while providing them a safe environment to test their coding skills against other players. You can even make them "Subtle vs Rage", where subtle queue would encourage the cheats that try to pass as legit players, and rage queue would be unrestricted. Hacks v Hacks lobbies have been something that's been proposed for things like CS:GO (I guess CS2 now) for a few years, and I fail to see a negative ramification of implementing something like that. Banks and major companies already apply something very similar, offering bounties for white-hat hackers who discover vulnerabilities. If bank and security institutions can do something like that, I don't see how a game would be worse-off for offering something like that.

The free cheats work: now people keep cheats in their back pocket 'just in case'.
