4:11 on the topic of dpi toggling, I actually use a button on my mouse as a DPI clutch to temporarily lower my DPI to make more precise aiming/tracking easier on certain characters since I generally use a higher DPI for quicker turns to react to things. It is a setup that I found that works well in a game like Overwatch where I don't have to sacrifice turn speed for accuracy all of the time, or struggle to aim with a sensitivity too high. I get to pick and choose when I need precise aiming and when I need quick flicks :)

I have a Dpi clutch that I can take off magnetically... the majority of the time in game I just have it bound to melee... Just depends whether you're a wrist or arm aimer to what would be better for you...

You can change your sens per hero so your effective dpi can be the same without having to change your mouse dpi at all ever.

I have the option for 4 different dpi settings but I just have 2 and they're at 800dpi and 12,000dpi and the second one is only for comedy purposes. People will see me in spawn before a match starts, whipping around at 38,000 miles per hour and be like "Oh my god, are you okay!?"

One of the things that has really stuck me about the last couple months, aside from the prevalence of cheating even in quickplay and arcade, is that while I have filed more reports for flamboyant cheating(spinbotting, hardlock aimbotting) in that span than I have at any point in previous years, I have yet to get a single "action taken" message. Prior to the Microsoft acquisition I would generally get an acknowledgement message a week or two after filing a report, but now when flagrant cheating has become commonplace: nothing - not a week later, not a month later.

I end up reporting a few people every time I play, and I get action taken messages virtually every time I sign in. And notably, I play on console, which contradicts a lot of the people gaslighting that there's no way to cheat on console (aside from xim). Cheating has been insane in console games too, where it's extremely common to have widows just whip 180 degrees to perfect headshots or Dvas mysteriously predicting exactly where somebody is hiding on the map and flying directly to them. Many of the cheaters are so cocky that they don't bother to hide it anymore.

Ex Cod player here, we reload constantly. Our campaign told us that swapping to our secondary is faster than reloading and the entire community took that personally. Also "ex" cuz I played back in 2009 but I had to quit playing in 2019. They put skill based matchmaking so thick that it actively rigs your games to keep you as close to a 1 k/d as possible, and then put that system in non ranked lobbies. So even when you're not playing ranked, you're playing ranked.

I want a more casual experience. Ranked is not casual. It's like in fighting games, you want that variation of skill level. If you never fight anyone better than you, how will you learn your own weaknesses? If you never fight anyone worse than you, how will you know you're progressing? Because rank is not everything, I'll tell you that, lol. Rank doesn't reflect actual skill.

This is why i quit again, I like OW, I think the game is a lot of fun to play. Yet from the perspective of someone that was bouncing between bronze and silver, I can say the cheating and smurfing this season is out of control. I will not be sitting here and saying "I should have been higher rank, its because of thr cheaters and smurfs that I wasn't". No, I simply understand that I do not have the skill when comes to PvP games like OW and so forth, I can play decently well, but in terms of actually pushing to a high rating, I just don't care enough to do so, and again understand that isn't something I am entirely capable of without hours of practice. Yet I can tell when someone is an obvious smurf or cheater, in which the bulk of matches I was in was full of them. In which it was not fun at all to play against, and once again made me quit. Unfortunately there is little to nothing to be done about them too, other than to quit playing the game sadly. Yet with how readily available cheats have become recently, and how easily you can buy and spoof new accounts, it's turned games like OW into essentially Cheats vs Cheats, over Player vs Player.
