This games lore trips me out sometimes. It's so deep, like a neverending novel. Yet on the surface, you could overlook this stuff when you get caught up in the day to day like exping and platinum. I love these videos. And all of the Epic Quests are insane at it's core. I hope this channel ends up having hundreds of lore videos. The presentation helps put the story together very well.

Not sure why this popped up in my feed but glad I watched it. Brought back some good memories. I had a monk alt on live that I did this quest on and then I did it again on P99 where I played a monk as my main. Wasn't really aware of that lore so that was cool to hear. I also played P99 during the Chardok zone pulls. Count me in the camp of "zone disruption". I didn't have an issue with people getting lots of XP or making plat or whatever but it completely ruined the Chardok zone for grouping. It needed nerfing.

I quit playing EQ due to not having a pc anymore probably half way thru Shadows of Luclin, and by the time I got a new PC World of Warcraft had just released and I was in high school and my group of friends all wanted to jump on the bandwagon, so I did also. Watching your videos bring back so many memories of the zones, mob sounds, that bag sound, the music, so much nostalgia. There has never been nor do I think there will ever be an experience quite like playing Everquest for the first time and getting immediately hooked.. its honestly a feeling I've tried to replicate so many times over the years with countless games and nothing can come close. I know you quit P99 but man, thanks for making all these videos. I may not play anymore, but these videos bring back the feels and I appreciate you for it.

I never got to enjoy EQ back when it was current as I was neck deep in Dark Age of Camelot, but after stumbling across your Everquest Classic Adventures series a year or two ago, I've been hooked on P99 and several of the Timelocked Progression servers as a result. It is truly a game like no other with design concepts and features that no other game I've played has. Your videos are an amazing testament to this, as well as your skill as a story teller and gaming personality. I know you plan on doing a series about your Wizard and I am very much looking forward to this. As one Aussie to another, thank you so much mate. Flatts he has been on sabbatical for a time while I explored the TLP servers. I have no doubt that I will go back to him, though for right now I am looking at doing a fresh Shaman on p99. Like you I have some major goals- Get his epic. Get the shaman feign death thingy from the planes (cause life isnt worth living if you csnt flop). Get Torpor. Lastly let me say how pleased I am that you remembered me. You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir.

I was just running some twinks thru Chardok the other day and getting these pipes in 2000 where a pain, but on live the other day I took my LVL 96 Dru with lvl 2 bard, lvl 2 sk and lvl 2 wizard, who are mostly twinked with Vel/Luclin area end mob drops but this was a great memory as I looted the pipe on the Dru and with all the monk gear I have from all the boss kills Im going to start a human monk this time. Great memories.

Thank you for these videos. It reminds me the good old time when I played EQ from 2000 to 2004 on Morell Thule, and on P99 with the Europa guild whose are wonderfull peeps. I had in mind to make en Iksar Monk (heh) after my Ranger and stopped suddenly, well maybe one day... but thanks again for your work and dedication, it was really engrossing and enjoyable.
