How easily would a 7 atom thick spatula cut your hand to shreds?

A 7 atom thick spatula would be like an extremely delecate foil. For comparison, I measured the thickness of the blade of my stainless spatula in my kitchen to be .040" with my calipers. That works out to be 8,060,000 iron atoms thick. Coatings that thin are made pretty regularly with atomic layer deposition, very commonly used for semiconductors and optics, but a standalone film that thin would be so fragile it would be basically impossible to handle.

The problem was that it was more than 7 atoms long. Try redesigning it to be only one atom. That'll fix it.
