Great point, he has a right to capitalize and it’s not dirty of him to do so. First off we’re in America and God Bless the fact we have a capitalist country to pursue our dreams and goals. He’s offering an important service not only calling out food brands that lie and deceive customers but also informing us. Now I’m not an anti gluten kind of person, I still love easy crap food which means I absolutely will always pick the better or less inflammatory, gut enraging products over the ones that will punish. I have lupus sle, I don’t feel good and even on meds I still flare up horribly which includes swelling legs/edema, stiff joints, random infections, swollen lymph nodes, etc. and some days after work it’s all I can do to even eat let alone cook a healthy meal which requires cutting up veggies, effort plus I have my high energy dogs to care for so as much as I’d love to be eating a perfectly balanced meal getting by is good enough and he does a great job listing out products that are much less harmful and sometimes offer additional benefits

Healthy food does NOT have to be expensive! I appreciate the sentiment, but this gives healthy food a bad rap. I only buy from my Walmart Neighborhood market, and my budget varies from $50 to $85 a week. And that includes lean turkey, chicken breast, and tilapia. Plenty of veggies too. If you really want to lose weight, eat healthier, and SAVE MONEY, buy the ingredients and cook for yourself. I love watching his videos... my mom started reading labels way before it was essential like it is now. I can't believe what some of these companies are putting into food, chemicals, etc! They all should be put out of business, or start using better ingredients, because people are smarter now when it comes to shopping. We the people have the final say so as to what we want, and the power to boycott too!
@CreationForeverMinistries7 ай бұрын
Sadly, the reason why all these companies are putting these sneaky artificial ingredients/chemicals is that big pharma knows that people want to go convenience shopping and as a result of convenience, people won't read the ingredients & nutrition facts and just go by the label/health buzz words and then fall for big pharma's tricks. We can simply read the ingredients/nutrition facts before getting something if you want something healthy that is also outside of the produce isle. Shopping time will only be 20% longer but it's best to start the shopping earlier so this way you can take your time and not have to be in a rush.

I'm not a huge fan of Thrive, It seems like most everything is smaller. Like all the organic beans are 10 oz instead of 16 oz, the miso is 4 oz. Not really cheaper with this smaller amount. I just placed a huge order because I moved states and needed to stock my kitchen. I was somewhat disappointed. The two frozen chickens were good. I cooked one, they are free ranged, organic. I also did not find the prices much cheaper. especially if you are a good shopper. I know they are cheaper than Whole (Pay check)Foods but I typically don't shop at that store. Not sure I will keep my yearly subscription. They do let you cancel in the first month. I am on a tight budget and I know my prices for organic food. I also thought they had fresh produce but they don't. Oh plus they charge shipping, my orders were split in two as the frozen is calculated separate. I had to keep adding things to get free shipping. I did it enough for both orders but will I be able to do that every time? If you can not shop its worth it. Anyway just one persons opinion, I know that it is a very popular service.

Just the other day I was looking for corn chips. I was thinking of Bobby and what he has said about what oils are bad for you etc etc. EVERY corn chip I looked at had been fried in either vegetable, canola or sunflower oil. The shredded cheese I looked at (several brands ) had natamycin in it as an anti-caking agent. Which is an antibiotic! Kills good bacteria in your gut. Unsurprisingly, the organic shredded cheese didn’t have that.
