Misty Summers I definitely can understand that concern. Keep in mind he's using oils and spices liberally so it's not going to be particularly low calorie. I think his meal preps are designed to be more so to have healthy & delicious meals but with no particular calorie restrictions (my perseption). I've noticed when I cook at home that calories are on things you don't even expect them to be 😭

I'm from the Middle East, I gave this pomegranate as a gift to my professor and she was amazed of the many ways she could use it. I love it, you can use it to marinate chicken it makes it so delicious 😋 and also in salads. Try Fattoush salad 🥗 you won't regret it.

FlavCity with Bobby Parrish Your video is my favorite. I watched a dozen or more after I accidentally stumbled into it. You carry viewers along, explain whys and hows, cook with lots of love. You took cooking to the very next level and raised the bar. Now, I won't stress about what to cook. I'll only have to come online and struggle with which of your tasty meals I'll be cooking next. I'm spoilt for choice now. You're a life-saver, and you banished Mr Bland. Thank you for what you're doing. God bless.

Yes! Woo! I’m a pretty experienced home cook who wanted to start trying to meal prep, and looking up meal prep ideas on KZbin I was honestly shocked at how shitty they all were. It’s like these people have no clue how to cook. I saw boiled broccoli with coconut oil in the water, chicken rice veggies and beans all cooked in an overloaded pan at the same time and plenty of shit that’s just really bland and uninspired. I dunno what about meal prep makes people who have no clue how to cook think they can be KZbin chefs but it’s good to see someone who seems to know what’s up. Thanks :D

Made the rice. One word. Amazing. I just love the way he adds flavor to everything. I always use a variety of spices in my cooking and find it weird that so many recipes just sprinkle salt and pepper on meat. That is crazy. This guy knows how to make food you want to eat!

Every time I reach for my Kingslayer Fork I can't help but chuckle. Incredible recipe. The curry spice rub is delicious and deceptively simple, the rice is frankly phenomenal, and the vinaigrette is delightful. I had friends come over for dinner and used some of my meal prep and they raved about everything, especially the yogurt sauce. Appreciate your knowledge, breadth of complicated ingredients, and all the jokes! FlavCity FTW

When we renovated our kitchen I invested in some new cooking items, of these my cast iron fry pan, cast iron flat top and griddle and cast iron dutch oven/casserole are absolutely the BEST items ever! I use one of the three every single day I cook (non prepped days). I absolutely advise anyone who hasn't acquired any yet to go for it. The only downside to these is the weight and cast iron is not really dishwasher safe, but these are minor faults compared to how excellent they are! Quick tip back your way is to do the marinating in a plastic bag. I throw my chicken into the bag & spices the night before I plan to cook. Once sealed I can give the bag/chicken a massage and throw it into the fridge. Every time I get a drink I give the chicken bag another quick fondle. Next morning I get the bag out and leave it to come back to room temp before cooking. The bag can then be tossed and there is no dish to wash! The bags I use are recycled ones... my absolute favourite chicken combo is chicken, a splash of olive oil & tarragon. I fry off the chick & tarragon with green onion& button mushrooms and serve it with a herb salad (it works soooo good with Coriander/cilantro & spinach). Next I I make it I will snap a pic.
