i'm in so cal and flavor grenade is possibly the most productive pluot we grow. this year it got really heavy with fruit that it broke 3 or 4 branches. Also they seem to hang on the tree for a long time, unlike Flavor king or some of the other pluerries/pluots. one more thing, the birds eat these a whole lot less than other varieties. so yea, flavor grenade is an awesome variety
