Flavor vs. Texture, Which is Superior?

It’s been almost 4 months since the last video! We return to you with one burger in our left hand and one mush in our right!
Have you ever had a burger with 0% Flavor, the most blendest burger in existence but perfect texture? Have you ever had a burger with 0% Texture, the flavorfulest burger .... that's been blended into a pulp….??
We are here to give you the experience of it without you having to go out there and make them yourself!
Recipe: Flavorless burger
Bun: Low sodium burger bun (you can make one yourself if you desire) + use homemade mayo to toast on medium heat
Toppings: Tomato, Lettuce, sliced Onion soaked in water for 1 day
Sauce: Homemade mayo sauce (blend egg for 20 seconds - add oil in tiny drops and blend slowly, no salt, no flavor added)
Patty: Ground beef, Low sodium bread crumbs, 1 egg, milk, vegetable oil
Recipe: Textureless burger
Bun: Regular Brioche bun
Toppings: Lettuce, Pickle, Tomato, Cheese
Sauce: Ketchup, Mayo, Mustard
Patty: Ground beef, Salt, Pepper, Garlic powder, Onion powder, Chicken bullion powder, Hart special burger spice mix, 1 egg, Bread crumb, milk
= Final step is very important BLEND YOUR BURGER in a blender : The goal is to create a burger with 100 Flavor and 0 Texture

As someone with Autism I'mma have to say that both are _ALMOST_ equally important (like 49% and 51%) _BUT_ texture is just barely more important....because if I like the flavor of a food but it's too slimy/mushy then I just absolutely can not eat it because it completely ruins the dish for me and sometimes even makes it so that I don’t like the flavor. Like if I eat sweet potato normally I just absolutely cannot STAND it. I hate the texture and the flavor of it and it just makes me nauseous...but I've been told that my grandmother had made things like sweet potato cake and (without telling me that it was sweet potato) I ate it and liked it...because it didn't have the texture of sweet potato.

I think flavor is nore important cause no matter how good the texture is I'm not eating 💩 or ⚰️, If it has a terrible texture I can eat it, if I have my eyes closed and don't think about it, there's a reason why flavored chips exist(i made that up)

For me personally, I don't have a problem with the texture of things, so I would say flavor is like, 80% of the dish. REALLY bad texture can ruin something, but that's only if it's absolutely horrendous. The mush burger in the video would still probably be pretty good.

Personally, I go with texture. If I'm eating potato chips and the texture is stale to the point of no crunch, I'm not eating it anymore. It can be the most tasty flavored BBQ chips, but if there's no crunch, no munch. Great video as always!

Flavor, I can kinda understand texture (mostly potato chips), but if something has terrible flavor, good texture is not saving it, but if something has a terrible texture, if it has good flavor, it still tastes fine.

I agree, most problems with comparison videos is that the flavour of the good texture one is not exactly bad, its just bland so like Hart said, it doesnt do anything offensive. For the flavour the texture is awful, its basically as bad as a texture can be. A fairer comparison imo will be a good texture burger, which is way too overly salted vs the slop burger

This is funny because in English class a few years back my teacher and his wife went to a fish market in Tokyo and ate literal SEA URCHINS. My teacher liked them because they tasted good but his wife hated them despite the taste because she didn't like the pasty texture. It really depends on the food. Like if it comes to burgers, id prefer flavor over texture because I wont enjoy a flavorless burger since its so bland. But, one commenter mentions potato chips and I actually agree that for THAT specific food item, texture is way needed than flavor because even if it was the most flavorful chip, if it has no crush then its not even potato chips at all. So yea it varies, but im choosing flavor than texture when it comes to most foods
