It looks so pretty on you. When ever i use a sponge to apply powder it looks like elmers glue that is almost dried it like clumps the products up and it looks ugly idk what i am doing wrong. I use very little foundation because i havent found a foundation that looks nice on my skin. Your always so pretty.

Maybe try a more finely milled powder. I had the same problem as well, but, with trial and error with sooo many different powders, I finally found one that works and doesn’t look caked on. I use the urban decay velvet powder, it’s called something like that. But, use just a little and it looks perfect. And, I have dry skin. Hope you find what works for you.

I’ve been powdering before foundation with other powders and found they felt so dry but Nikkias didn’t dry me out! Love the feel of it Only down side is my super pale skin finds the yellow tinge darkens my makeup so I only wear this as a dusting and a different powder for locking in concealer

2nding the setting spray, probably. what works for me (in Europe) is a combo of concealer and compact powder. gave up on foundation, maskne and dehydrated yet oily skin put an end to that.

I’m in the US too. You’re still wearing a mask? Gloves, and thorough hand washing, are more affective in the prevention of any infectious disease than a flimsy mask. As a DSN, and someone who worked in a COVID unit, I haven’t seen a COVID case in 5 weeks. I had it in March, with an underlying heart, and respiratory, condition. My point is, this virus will NEVER weaken unless we build antibodies against it, and there are only two ways to create antibodies. Once you have a defense against it, you won’t have to worry about your makeup under a mask.

I love your videos!!! They are always super helpful!!! I have the same skin type as you (oily, textured, large pores, acne spots) but I am also mature (58) so even though I'm older your tips always work for me. Concealer color has always been a struggle for me. I love the Too Faced flawless concealer but have had trouble finding the right shade as I'm on the cooler side (cool neutral) and Too Faced products can pull yellow/orange on me. I just got another color in my BoxyCharm, and I'm hopeful that its the right shade. But I have other concealers that are the right shade for me, just not high coverage like Too Faced or Tarte Shape tape, but more emollient. I've never tried using an oil in my foundation. I usually use the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer (your recommendation but I got a trial size in case it didn't work for me but I've now bought a full size of it) in the summer and the Touch in Sol No Poreblem Primer Water on the drier areas of my face (outside). I'll give the oil a try!!! As for Dermalogica, I've been slowly picking up products based on your recommendations. I currently going through a high stress time so my skin has broken out more than usual. I'm using a different cleansing system at night to help combat that (as well as trying to get rid of blackheads & sebaceous filaments). Thanks for always having our skin types covered!!!
