Judges was trippin dude had great lyrics, catchy hook, amazing stage presence, crowed control & took a change by making a pop/flirty type of song to show his versatility ! They said the point of the samples was to remix it in a way were people forget what previous Artist used it & make it your own which he executed flawlessly (pun intended) then chance critiqued that they he should have sampled more😂 like what the song is 🔥

This song has grown on me. As a fan of the original song (Eddie Brickell - What I Am), I was disappointed that he didn’t really sample it strongly. However, he did create an interesting song and it’s pretty catchy!

Yep. Shouldve had the hook sample during the hook. Wouldve given it that extra boost. His hook was boring as with most of his songs. If you cant be creative lyrically, make it sound dope at least.

When I look back on this performance by Flawless, it’s great in all, but I wish he didn’t make this record. I wouldn’t enjoyed something lyrical by him at that moment on the show. It boxed him in and people like Flawless don’t let that happen. That only takes away from their gift
@Yungpacmeezi5 жыл бұрын
Joel Pirela I disagree fam , he KILT this shit. Period . Point blank HE chose to showcase he can make a mainstream record AND IF YOU’RE listening he brings a number of lyrical bars that are not only clever but smooth and it all flows he killed this shit bro, he had already given you the “I’m trouble” joint making ANOTHER one of those,.. now u talking about boxing him in as this street character ... you’re wrong I feel like. But I respect your opinion

Pac Romero I didn’t say I didn’t like this track.... He boxed himself in doing that is what I’m saying

i personally think that Flawless should have won this. Smoke did choke in the previous episode
@Yungpacmeezi4 жыл бұрын
menglr YOURE right lmao Flaw won that shit for me personally D smoke kilt his last performance ... whole time so did FLAW he spilled his heart out ... but in totality who really was FLAWLESS thru the whole run ... FLAW was I hated when they criticized him for the sample he used like wtf
@biggestfanofDallas4 жыл бұрын
@@Yungpacmeezi The judges had no criticisms about the sample itself, but how he had too much background noise where it is difficult to identify sample. The producer he worked with said the same thing in the episode, but Flawless said something along lines of "[The producer] came in too early and isn't able to see the creative vision I have." No disrespect to F RT, but he would have been a tier above Smoke if the judges were able to identify the sample in this challenge. Cause this track slaps more than all the other ones
@TyGuy2224 жыл бұрын
This sounded a lot like one of Troyman's tracks - even the way he performed it... I never really felt Flawless.
@biggestfanofDallas4 жыл бұрын
Which track by Troyman? I think Flawless is like Kanye in the sense that he can put out versatile material. D Smoke is about conscious rap, which is respectable no doubt but not type of music you would play at the club and turn up to
