I got a killer bee. was a trade in to fix a 667V. the meter has cracked face but works. I super glued it. 2 new 2290 pills and 1.8 ohm 2 watt resistor and some caps. works great. The one I have has 68 ohm feed back resistors. I switched to 39 ohm from the 667 I fixed. that had lots of new parts. the cap on hot buss got fat so i changed it. I just have 80 MM fan mounted on it. plastic spreader between fins . stayed put. no keying circuit. RCA jack PTT line only. haven't had it out in years . love that fan kit. did not know they make it for them. 73's

A couple years ago i bought a nice soldering iron but it wouldn't get hot enough, I'm scratching my head as to why. so i decided to try the tip from my old iron and it got much hotter. So then i realized that the type of metal the tip was made out of was the cause. So i went to Amazon looking for copper tips and guess what i found. So I bought a variety pack with different size tips and dang, they really transfer the heat very well. It's the biggest improvement i have ever seen. The copper tips do wear out faster but they're totally worth it and they're priced right too.

If you put a fan switch in, may I suggest the addition of a automatic override thermal switch. I bet there isn't a operator that wont forget to turn the GD fan on .....again . 73s

On this one, the capacitor on the top transformer had de-valued and it was causing a drop in output power. So when I replaced it with that metal, it came up. On this one, that is mainly all I had to do or at least. The next amp may be different.

I love the old Texas Star amps I've had the mod V's killer bee's 350's and 667's got cheated out of a sweet 16 and a DX 3200 but that's ok I do just fine out here with the 350 and soon will be putting the 667 back into action.😁

Brother that's awesome but I'm in a need to move a few amps just sold an SB220 keeping my 667 and maybe a Palomar 550. Still have two Red TS 250C amps and a fireball 1x2 and maybe might sell the TS 350. But I sit at around 4000+ feet above sea level and have been talking all over the country on a barefoot Stryker 😁
