Then he proceeds to attack what seems to be the same ones that invaded stage and was being detained by security, only then he destroys the stage. Then another fan invades the stage and hugs Flea while he's destroyng the stage and Flea smiles and hugs him and give him little pats on the belly. Another funny one is he signing stuff for papparazis, he start signing one then a few show up out of nowhere and he notices what's going on and just drops the pen and walk away, hahaha. Very funny, crazy guy, but above all: a great musician, and actually only that should matter for us; also that he is doing good and healthy and hope that he is a good person but that should be to every single human.

I loved his book. A LOT! I was astonished by how good it was. I'm still astonished by the insights and the writing. I listened to it on the set of CD's and it's Flea's voice doing the talking. It's one of the most wonderful books I've listened to and he deserves a Grammy for it. I had listened to Patti Smith's bio and was pleased to learn that she encouraged and inspired Flea to write his. Prepare to be amazed.

I had a flea. We were also inseparable. Brothers right from day one (starting at age 10). Then he died waaaaaay too young (29). 18 years later and I still miss him every day. He was the best friend I ever had and would have been the best uncle my kids could have ever had. Oh yeah, he liked the Chili Peppers long before they blew up and he got me liking them too (at 1st I didn't, but he never stopped playing their songs). I still remember when he couldn't wait to share their "new song" with me ("Under the Bridge"), and I have been a fan ever since. IF only I could afford to take my kids to one of their concerts on this tour. Man, that would be great. Hopefully I find a way to make it happen.

I'm halfway through reading Anthony Kiedis' autobiography, Scar Tissue. It's a GREAT read! Kiedis talks a lot about his friendship with Flea throughout the book. They have such an endearing bond, I fucking LOVE Flea man! And seeing him express his love for Anthony is very touching. These two have had the WILDEST time together and they're both just SO fucking awesome! LONG MAY THEIR FRIENDSHIP LAST! It's wonderful to have a friend who's THAT close with you. They were BORN to be best pals man!

I approached him at the park while he was playing catch. as a fan, i said i love your work blah blah blah . he's a heard it a million times.
