The Rules of The Totes... Unspoken but known throughout the world... maybe :0) If that would have occurred at the usual Tote Man flea market to another shopper, there would have been some words for sure. I wish I could have shown the photos of the vintage dark ride figures/sculptures that Jimmy saved from the scrapyard. Probably at least 6 feet tall, from skeletons to monsters, painted and in different poses. Someone dropped off an entire dark ride and those were amongst the pieces. He saved history yet again from the trash! Fall has arrived here, our temps are dropping to around 29 degrees tonight, coldest that it has been in some time! No snow yet though :0)

I think that is the first time that I've had someone try to take something out of my hand as I was holding it. First time for everything, as they say! All adjusted back to being in the States? Always seems easier coming back and "gaining" time versus losing a few hours to a day.

@@PaperandMoose Oddly the time difference didn't affect me at all on the way over but it's lingering a little on this side. I am re-ensconced (?) in d2d life here - seems like I never left. I really wanted to stay longer - the people and the town are terrific (and the food, and I think they should bring back trams in the US). I was successful in getting my toddler nephews some childrens' books in Czech - though now I have to get on the Google and translate them. Was also successful in finding some lotion that my wife Iiked (she went with me on my first trip) - and the other stocking items that were texted to me in my hotel room one night. I found everything except the "Memories of Prague" travel-size body gel. Manufaktura (the lotion and bath bomb company / store) only sells that in Prague. I would have been chastised for leaving meeting for a 4-hour round trip train ride for body gel (which I'm not entirely sure what that is anyway). All I can say is thank goodness the lotion and bomb lady spoke English. Oh, and - it sure was a unique (for me) experience watching the elections from outside the country. Love that cute mini chair...one of the fr-gs would be neat relaxing on it! What's with that character grabbing your find??? I had a similar situation, but the intruder got his "gift"...a cut on his grabbing hand, as the item I was looking at had a sharp edge I took care not to grab, but he did! The piece was a vintage tinplate model train car. It's in my collection, the offending "stabber" repaired! Speaking of stabbing, hope you watch your digits for any cutting edges! Those trucks look neat...would get those, for the train layout...look close to the right scale. How does Mr. Tote price a haul...by the pound, bin or bag full, or set prices on each bin contents? You can have all the Snoopy stuff...run across so much of it. Looks like my favorite creature is rare in the flea market content! Most of my fr-g figurines are purchased on eBay, as most of the thrifting venues are dead and gone-gone-gone out here!

Great story about your very own train robber! Good thing you didn’t cut your finger on it & even better that it has a home with you now! It Tote Man charged by the pound, he’d be rich 🙂 For what I buy, he looks in my bag or tote & then gives me a bulk price for everything. There are items, like say the Hess trucks, household appliances, larger pieces that he has a set price for each. He’s very reasonable though - he doesn’t want to bring all that home! Perhaps one day he will buy a frog collection & the totes will be full of your favorite creatures!

Have you considered using a camera mount on your head? Would make it easier to open wrapped items and move things in the totes. Otherwise, I like your videos
@PaperandMoose2 ай бұрын
That would be pretty cumbersome to handle, constantly attempting to adjust the angle of the camera & I’d have no idea if the camera was actually pointing at what I was looking at. I’d have to be moving my head all about in hopes the angle is right, same as if I wore a chest mount (which I dislike as well). I also have been approached by people who do not want to be on camera, some asking nicely & others threatening physical harm, so to walk about with a camera on my head is a no.

Even when the real and fake are placed side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. You have to do this kind of forensic level investigation, which only shows that the fake kislux is very impressive and the real thing is really not worth the price. In fact, I am very disappointed with Chanel's poor quality in recent years and their customer service is terrible. The fakes look good at the moment
