I have an obsession with vintage fishing rods, reels, and tackle. I just restored an old rod and reel, and am currently working on a late 50s early 60s St Croix rod. I'll be fishing a ~30s-40s rod and reel this weekend.

Devin was casting the Bomber "zebra" casting lure. Just look up; vintage Bomber lures and there's a chart that has all the designs. It's there. Also, the rod you got is similar to the one that I learned on. Loved the reminder of how OLD I am. 🤣⏰🦅...time flies

I have some of those dalmatian lure in different colors I believe the bomber is correct for its name. That old rod was meant for a spin cast reel like a old zepco. I have some of those rods somewhere. I have a few old vintage lures, reels and rods around.

Dope video gonna have to do some flea market shopping to build my rods reels and tackle back up moved to Fort Worth Texas Saginaw area about 3 months ago and lost easily over 4,000 dollars of rods reels and tackle boxes during the move from California that dancing eel looked like a dancing tadpole and that spoon shape reminded me of the bottom of a mouse crankbait I use to have

That first rod with the recessed reel seat was mostly what my mom used on her fishing trips. She had her "lucky green rod" up until maybe ten years ago when it died. I think it was from the 1970's.

With the red Lures Bass either think it’s a crawfish or a bleeding baitfish , Also with red red Lewers our best during spring and fall because the crawfish spawn during spring and fall!

People were using this equipment to catch millions of fish before the mistake that is you was even thought about. It always helps to be smarter than the lures you're using.

Westly, flatten the barbs with the pliers,it will be easier to get the hook out and not hurt the fish so much and if you hook your friend or yourself and you won't have to go to the hospital. Your fishing styles are not funny, they are mostly incorrect and dangerous.
