Let's go antique shopping & tour booths full of beautiful art, charming antique tableware, and retro furniture :)
------- About This Flea Market -----------
In this Brocante about 120 brocanteurs and Antiquaries get together to sell their vintage and antique collections of home furniture, decor objects and beautiful art. I take you on a tour shopping with me in this beautiful French style flea market.
In Toulouse, La Brocante des Allées François Verdier is held the first weekend of every month. You can expect what feels like an endless amount of stalls filled with beautiful and unique objects, friendly and informative venders, and lots of people eager to find that special item to take home! All and all, it makes for a perfect weekend with family or friends :)
Location: Toulouse. Southern France
------- About Me & The Channel-----------
My name is Lala and I LOVE thrifting, antiquing, and sharing those experiences. I've wanted to creat this channel since 2014, but I struggled for years to muster the courage to put myself out there.
A lot has changed since 2014, I've married a Frenchie, moved from Spain to France, and added a little human to our little tribe (🧔🏻👩🏻‍🦱👶🏻🐱🐱🐶)
We are currently busy bringing up our little human AND renovating our home as sustainably as possible. So we go to the thrift stores, flea markets/brocante as well as antique shops often (to put it mildly) 😅
I hope you'll consider joining me on my thrifting/brocante adventures as we restore our home one DIY at a time. Thank you!

I think items seen pricey. Loved the bookcase cabinet. There were some beautiful chairs. Thank you for showing US dollar amounts.

There were so many gorgeous things. I would love to look through the tables with the old hardware, door knobs, etc. And the tables with all the knobs at the end of your video looked pretty interesting too. I loved the tall secretary desk and the cabinet with all the drawers in the space with all the matador paintings. Prices? Yes, some were quite high. Other prices expected.

Hi Maggie, thank you for being here :) yeah, I did realise I didn't take my time filming at that booth, mainly because we were speaking to the vender. But I know where he is now 😉 hehe Right? And I feel they keep getting higher, but that's with everything these days. Glad to see you again :)

Watching ur channel for the first time. Lovely! U do what I would love to do. I see u like pottery from the 50's n 60's vintage style. Could u take some time to show us things like tapestry, chandeliers, sculptures, architectural old pieces, beautiful frames, mirrors, some more antique furniture, unique vases n lamps n lampshades. Beautiful vases, rugs, etc. Interesting things that we'll never saw or would be able to see unless u show. Curious n pretty antique things. Also, I was wondering if you had done a video of inside ur home. I can image what ur home looks like. Thank you for taking me to France with you visiting flea markets there.

Hi 👋🏾 Lala!! In general I guess most of it is pretty fair. But it does seems like prices going up with every brocante. like everywhere else in the world with everything prices are going up. But I seen a lot of artwork and vases I would’ve spent money on. If I had it that is lol. Ohh and the beautiful glasses 5/30. I’m in love. Magnifying glass, lamps, candlaubras, picture frames ❤❤❤.. have a blessed weekend and thank you my darling.

So wonderful to have you back. There were so many beautiful things here - too many favorites. BUT I loved the IMARI plates - I generally gravitate to anything white BUT the vibrant oranges and cobalt blues of IMARI are so lovely together. The stack of books you admired - yes please. The art, too many lovely ones to mention. As for the prices, some were reasonable some were not. C'est normale. :)

Hi Lala❣️😊I like the high bonbonniere. I love your videos. It is fun to see the things they have in France. Some of it is the same in Denmark, but a lot is different.

As you mention, prices at the brocante do seem to be rising. Certainly the quality of items is very good, but vendors must realise people are seeking to buy their goods and should price them accordingly. I wonder if price rises are seasonal at brocante - higher in Summer when tourists have money to spend? There were so many treasures I would love to have purchased - the two seascapes near the beginning, and was that a Maling plate precariously balanced on the edge of a table? Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us

You're absolutely right. These items are different though, they're from a different period and have stood the test of time...for people who are interested in those stories they'd rather an antique that a new piece. Thank you for watching.
