love these old butchery and steak knives! so much more applicable than people think, for most of history having a sharp blade on you of any kind was mandatory! also the BSF90 is the amount of silver and type used i believe not the brand, but don't hold me to that. i have yet to find a hobo knife in good enough condition, I like the imperials and colonial brand stuff very economical, they always seems to be in rough shape i like the smaller size of that one you showed too! for how much that winchester have been sharpened the snap is still pretty solid thats cool.

Yes, most hobo knives I find are in bad shape and not worth the time. I used to have a small one like that is why I bought it. The Winchester was definitely loved by its owner, not abused. Thanks for watching!

I got a WW2 clasp knife too. Mind has a spike. Paratroopers also had them. For rigging there lines. Also mountain soiders for climbing details. Read this in some of my books 📚. Really cool stuff. Great video 👍

Did you get a chance to try the cold blue on the copper?
@blademan17527 минут бұрын
@ I tried it and had some Birchwood aluminum black, neither made a change. Someone suggested toilet cleaner. I’ll try a quick dip/rinse in muriatic with a loose rivet and see if anything happens.
