FleaBass Model 32 Punk [Bass Review]

Hello!
Voilà quelques soundclips de la FleaBass Model 32!
J'ai enregistré ça plugé directement dans l'ordinateur, donc y'a aucun effet sur la basse! Alors imaginez ce que ça peut donner avec un bon ampli et un bon EQ :P
J'ai changé le micro pour un EMG 35DC, donc j'ai fais des soundclips avant/après.

I made some soundclips with my new FleaBass Model 32.
I recorded it with the bass plugged directly in the computer, so I'm not using any amp or effects. Imagine how cool it would sound with a nice EQ and amp behind it ^^
Otherwise I changed the pickup for an EMG 35DC, so I did each groove 2 times.

That EMG 35DC is where it's at!!! Does a pretty good job of chasing that Music Man Stingray sound, while fitting in a standard humbucker housing, so you could say buy an LTD bass, and swap out the CS for that Music Man punch!

Just wow, as usual Im amazed by your playing, love it, I was looking at this bass to buy, but i chose to go for a Ibanez ATK305 cause i wanted a good five string, but that is an awsome 4 stringer, those EMG 35DC's improve the sound alot!

Haha I ran my laptop through my GK bass amp rig with this video playing and it sounded freaking amazing!!! Like the bass is SUPPOSED to sound. Great video, especially when heard through EQ and Bass amp speakers :)

Dude I'm amazed by your playing, props to your new Fleabass! the tone changes A LOT with the EMG, but I still think I like the original pickup better, sounds more "Flea" to me, I insist, you're amazing!

Ah ouais en effet !! Le EMG 35DC est super, on voit vraiment la différence ! Le son est bien plus net et précis. Bon boulot en tout cas :) Et j'adore les deux premiers petits extraits ! :)

Great job on that man, I liked that new pickup a lot better. It was much clearer, less noisy, less muddy, where the stock one sounded a bit too muddy and dark. Seriously huge difference. I like the quack and compressed sound you get from the new pickup. That tone is remarkable. 5/5

I love EMG pickups but the stock sounds pretty sick to. I love the tone its putting out, when i get one i think i'm going to leave it in.

Definitely going to buy and instal the EMG 35DC and EQ system. The stock pickup is ok...yet it is a little weak and you don't really get a massive range of tones with it. Along with that, a big standard screw mounted thumb rest and that is that sorted!

I think that the EMG pickup is too bright, but as soon as I got my pedal board back the sound will be really good I think! Tonight I've got a rehearsal so I'll see how it sounds with an amp :)

Hey man! If you like the tone of the fleabass and the shape of its body then take the FleaBass! But otherwise if you prefer the shape and sound of the Squier, take it 'cause I know that classic vibes is a pretty sweet and kick ass bass too! :) (and maybe way more polyvalent!)

@youathoz You can put an active pickup in a passive bass as long as you wire the pickup with a battery ;) And there's enough room for a battery in the FleaBass.

Wow, I didn't think replacing a pickup would change the tone that dramatically. The originally sounds more Precision bass-y while the EMG sounds so Music Man-y.
