I sure wish these kind of videos would show repairs under real world conditions. Everything in this video is clean and accessible and it doesn’t reflect the working conditions that people like myself will encounter when they try to do it.

It’s so you can see what they’re doing 😂 yours shouldn’t be different

Yes, good video. I decided to open my injector and clean it out. Not horrible, but still needed a cleaning. Don't forget to bypass before loosening those screws. Don't ask why.

This video was perfect for my 2000 Fleck 560SE. Turned out the filter screen was filled up wit small particles from the brine tank. The water to the brine would fill fine but when the brine rinse was taking place it had a slower flow. Thanks for making this video for us DYIers.

great video, clear and concise...it will help me tackle my 5600 SXT that stopped using salt and it keeps putting too much water in the brine tank after a regen cycle.

I don't have a button in the small bass piece with the white holder. Is that normal and if not, how do I know when one goes in there?? That big plastic piece has 2.4GPM written on the outside. Not sure if that helps.

The flow control under the white plastic piece you pulled out with a number on it well mine doesn’t have that rubber washer or flow control. I’m having g an issue with no suction on my brine rinse instead it’s pushing water at a good heavy flow. Is this missing piece my problem?

@@rotaxrider I have the digital one so not sure, I might try to take it apart and check the piston assembly on your advice though. I already cleaned the injector and dfcl without success unfortunately

Great video - love saving a service call. But what size/type of rubber washers do I use? or do I just look for a "similar" size? Thanks.

Where do I find the special tool used on the drain line flow control? And also the lube used on the gaskets?

@@HopWorksET Hey I found some Danco Silicone Grease #88693 also Danco Waterproof Grease #80360 on Menards website, not sure if they are the same compound, because one says silicon and the other say waterproof. I will look for it at the store, it says its for plumbing.

If my screen is rusty and dirty what kind of problems does that cause? I took it apart cause brine water was not refilling. I've clean it. it seems to look OK know but haven't tried it yet.
@tiredowalkin5 жыл бұрын
My screen and injector nozzles were completely blocked with slime and rust, too. I cleaned them up with apple cider vinegar soak carefully and still need to check the brine line flow control and the drain line flow control. This is an excellent how-to video!
