I don't understand why you would put 2 brush units in the same station that makes no sense to me at all . If you have a large brush fire you would want both units to respond not just one . Brush 9 or the other brush engine should be in a different station I think . Maybe I'm old school .

Brush 9 and Brush Engine 9 have different capabilities. Depending on the needs of the incident, both rigs might respond. Station 9 is on the western side of our district, up against a hogback that has seen multiple wildland/urban interface fires. West Metro crews are often deployed to fires outside of our district, as part of a national or state response. Brush Engine 9 is often requested. Since Station 9 is home to our wildland team, much of the team's personal equipment for deployment is stored at the station. Our REMS team (rapid extrication module support) is also based out of Station 9, and the trailer containing the team's equipment is also staged there. REMS team members have training in wildland fire and technical (rope) rescue and are requested during larger national fires. Their job is to rescue downed firefighters, usually in steep and hard to access terrain. REMS video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/baO7m6p9iseHY7M
