Just discovered these guys. I am close to 70 and spend my KZbin time reminiscing with the bands of the 60’s and 70’s. All I can say is that new music is alive and well as long as this kind of talent emerges once in a while. What a relief to find a band with something to say and a unique way of saying it.

I wholeheartedly agree with all the comments regarding the sound quality of the recording, Robin's voice and stage presence, and the musicianship of the whole band. However, massive shout out must go to Christian Wargo and his understated, but huge influence, on the band's sound. His high harmonies are so integral to the Fleet Foxes sound. Without them, the band would sound a lot different. Apparently he was solely responsible for the amazing vocal arrangements for the Mykonos coda, one of the loveliest passages of music and harmonies in their back catalogue.

An exceptional band of brothers... as an old guy (61) it warms my heart to see passion and musicality on this scale. Easily as good as any classic band you could mention. The acid test for any act is how they translate albums in a live setting. FF make a monster crowd like this Pitchfork audience seem somehow intimate. Amazing musicianship. Their cover of Curtis Mayfield and the Impression's "Fool For You" was just sublime. Hopefully there are more teenage kids out there starting to want to take the whole thing forward like the Foxes obviously did when they first formed. as my fav fleet foxes song, it came as a bummer that they chose to open with it both here at pitchfork and at the newport in columbus in May, but what better way to set my heart alight for an evening of some beautiful sounds?

I'm obsessed with the new arrangement they do for 'Helplessness Blues'. It sounds so good lower like that and the whole ending is perfect. I just saw them in concert a few months ago and have been listening to it on loop.

Never heard of this band so it was a blessing to have it just randomly show up in my feed. Definitely love the vibe.

It cannot be overstated how good this band is. This is the kind of music that 5 basset hounds can howl along to next to a full gospel of the world's most spiritual individuals on the background of any geographical terrain in the world and it will sound and look beautiful 100 times out of 100. Who else is up there with Fleet Foxes and Kendrick Lamar as today's greatest?

'Grown Ocean' is my favorite FF song. Love the background harmonies and the whole feel of the lyrics.
