Why is it the older you get, the less old a car appears to be. Your Rover 600 doesn't look 30 years old to me, but if you go back to the 1990's a 1960's car just did look very old. I think cars reached their peak from around 1992 to around 2005, now they are a electrical/technical minefield.

You may or not be aware being a Southerner from Surrey,😂😂 that there is a Harry Secombe centre in Sutton. Maybe a road trip one day to see his sacred temple. My favourite uncle was called Uncle Fred. Fred the shed keeps him in my mind so thank you 😊

The yard round up videos are my favourites. It’s nice to look around at all your stuff, it’s a bit like having my own yard full of stuff, only without the expense, responsibilities, faff and effort of having a yard. And someone else chooses what stuff is in the yard. I’d have fewer Rovers and more canoes. I don’t like clutter in my own spaces, people always remark on how tidy my garage is for example. Oh I wish my garage was this tidy they say, but it could be if they tidies it up and stopped using it as a place to dump stuff rather than doing what they should do and just getting rid. Buy some shelves and get some of those crates the supermarkets use to bring your shopping and have a good old clear up and your garage will be as tidy as mine. But back to the point. I don’t like clutter in my spaces but I do enjoy having a poke around in someone else’s clutter and stuff. Despite not liking clutter, if I had a yard such as this I would undoubtedly stuff fill it with things I find interesting, a Yamaha XTZ750 or two, canoes as previously mentioned, I’d get a Renault 18 Estate and hide it there from Mrs Miller and I would also like to have a Rolls Royce or a Bentley but I can’t afford one that works so I would get one that didn’t work but was acceptable inside and just go and sit in it every now and then. And a Chesterfield sofa, Mrs Miller doesn’t like them so we won’t have one in the house but I would have one in my yard. The rest of the space would be taken up with bikes because I like tinkering with bikes. Maybe I should quit the rat race and just fix up and resell old bikes? But then that makes tinkering with bikes into a job and suck all the joy out of it. And there would have to be a portion of my yard given over to Things That Have Not Gone Well where things I have broken will live. But it will all be tidy, in fact I’d probably waste most of my time tidying. Anyway, I very much enjoyed the tour of your yard and having a little think about what I would do if I had a yard like yours. Now Fred has gone it’s time to choose my new favourite and I choose the 800. Super excited for the Peugeot film and finally before I bid you adieu, why can’t anyone who has lunch in the caravan clean up after themselves? You’re not their mum. Toodles.

I quite enjoy those tv programmes about hoarders who are forced to let their family remove everything while they go through every black bag before its allowed to be put in the skip. And also the youtube car detailing with filthy cars that have had families literally camp in the vehicles. I do like the clean results being a clean freak, but the mental issues of those involved always seemed to be ignored and neglected. I blame the war 😂😂

You do have an order of thing it's called when the monies there I'll get on with it. Which I personally understand. It's a shame the bottom fallen out of the market of Rovers. But you cant control the market. Question Has the bottom fallen out of the spares market to for Rover. Or has Rover ownership petered out. I must admit there were several MGZRs round my way when I had my ZS and lots of 75s but over the last 10 years they've disappeared and seeing a 75 is a rarity

This swaps sounds interesting 😊. Road tax is unfair and outdated. Rover press car get it up on Car and Classic. Unfortunately that's the problem there is often no money in them even though people say they would love to buy them. I know I had the same problem with Roger the Rover 800 Si I sent him to auction making £1000 he went to Blackpool then to ACA to be Auctioned off again for the same money I made the a great loss of £700 not to mention the Labour on it. The 306 is very nice car I know a few people up here that love them. Good yard update 😊👍

A lovely big yard update video! Forgive me not going with the KZbin 'fleet' drift! Being a bit old fashioned and fond of pedantry, I think of a group of cars owned by the same individual as a collection! 😀 How nice to hear the 'Fred the Shed' song again! Obviously this time there really is a 1980's former celebrity living in the SD1 or you'd have removed the cover! 😁 It's always great to see Carl so I'm looking forward to the Peugeot video. Best of luck with car sales. Giving them an airing on this video might even have helped spread the word. Also, it feels like a while since there have been any no-nonsense sales pitch videos - perhaps its time for a couple?

Hi Paul,i really enjoy your videos, i really feel for you with the yard expenses and trying to make the best living for your family that you can, i cannot help but mention that Rovers have a very small appeal,you have to be a true Rover enthusiast ,i cannot remember the last time i saw one on the road, with your expertise, knowledge, tools and space could you not broaden the vehicles you deal with,that would appeal to a wider market and hopefully make you a better living.

Absolutely criminal these cars are sat like that especially the R8, Metro and 45. All three look to be in good condition and are only getting rarer I cannot understand for the life of me why they havent sold. I had no problems selling Rovers of all varities and there parts a few years ago and i didnt have a KZbin channel or 6.83k subscribers. Surely the market hasnt changed that much? Are people actually viewing the cars? All that been said i wish you all the best crofting is much easier than selling cars. I sold fifty pullets six pigs and around two tonnes of potatoes this week. I should be getting ready to sow wheat in September but my head keeps saying buy another Rover WHY HAVENT YOU BOUGHT ANOTHER ROVER!!! I am a gluten for punishment 🤣
