Unfortunately I dont have any new gear to review and don't know when I will. There have been no gigs and no work this year because of covid, so I havent felt the need to buy anything new and cant spend money on gear right now. Who knows how long this will last 😕

Its different for everyone and depends on how much you play and how much you sweat, but the color is actually a coating that is designed to protect the string and help it last longer, so it normally lasts around a month for me

How did you get your coated DRs to be so bright? My g is always dead.

Aside from them being new strings, I also solo'd the bridge pickup and boosted the treble on the bass preamp to get the harmonics to really pop. This bass is pretty hifi sounding and can get really bright with those settings
