Recorded this off BBC radio in 1986. The tape is getting a bit fuzzy now. Great to hear it loud and clear again. My first record was Albatross in '68 age 13 ❤

This is PETER GREEN singing this song. The guy with the guitar and guitar case. This is Peter Green starting to FREAK OUT about MONEY. The Green Manalishi is MONEY. You know, Money is GREEN, or it is in the USA. It is also the case that Pete was starting to get enlightened. He wasn't enjoying FAME as much. He saw how other people lived with so little. He ultimately stepped away from his famous rock guitarist position and status. Later he would suffer from mental illness. Mick Fleetwood says Pete's mental health deteriorated after the LSD dosing at the Munich Party in Germany. Pete's family would also have to literally take care of him for years to come because Pete wasn't in his right mind.
