How any woman, drugged up or not, could give up Lindsey is just beyond my comprehension. He is talent, beauty and has that artist soul. He still looks and sounds great. Great vid and great band.

From what we’ve been told, he may have abused her physically and verbally. So if that is true it’s understandable why she left him. We won’t really know unless someone speaks up.

@@Hal70jordan Carol Ann Harris spoke up. His next girlfriend. In her book. Based on what she said, he has a dark side. And it’s terrifying. Like reading a horror novel. But I love him and his music, singing, guitar playing etc. I don’t wanna believe it. So I’m torn…

LOL..The very line that upsets Stevie "Packin up shackin up" he basicly says that's exactly what he meant and hasn't changed his mind. Freaking awesome!

Stevie has always needed an individual of higher talents especially in music production, first it was Lindsey who produced her music for her and then when she went solo she went on to work with guys like Tom Petty and Joe Walsh. Lindsey has never needed anyone to make his music for him and thats why you can never say that Stevie was the best member of Fleetwood Mac, she wasnt even the second best to be honest. Christine McVee and Lindsey Buckingham are the 2 geniuses behind Fleetwood Macs success.

Seems to me, Lindsey's reactions on their rocky loveaffair was showing more normal behaviour than Stevie's. She was only focussing on the band and forced him to stay. The song Dreams, allready started with a lie. Lindsey didn't want his freedom back, he wanted to stay with her.
@juvisage84275 жыл бұрын
stevie said in an interview that when she said "well, here you go again you say you want your freedom", she was actually talking about her, 'cause the relationship was so tense and dark (her own words) that she couldn't do it anymore, so yeah.

im a bass player and even though i consider dreams a very easy bass line i love the whole song the way its written..the effects they used on her voice...i love to play it at night in the summer time when its rianning and ive had a few glasses of wine..im 35 and i found FM for myself my mom was still stuck in the 60s in the 70s and 80s..i also loved stevie nicks solo stuff likie gypsy..i turn on the radio now and its void of all things good, something fleetwood mac did so efortlessly D
@robvanderliet18288 жыл бұрын
'Gypsy' is not a Stevie solo song; it is performed by Fleetwood Mac, from the Mirage album. The lyrics are Stevie's.

@shouldhaveaskedfor. Yes indeed she is so amazing. After thinking about this Lindsay must have a very dark side we don't see. So she moved him on. But I love them both! Fleetwood is just golden

That line of playing better after the substance abuse is a bit of a paradox. Listening to them live now gives me little pleasure at best. I believe that they take very few risks now than they did in the past so their best performances were they were on drugs! Which is sad to say. Of course we want them all healthy but the best of their work is behind them and Age has a strange way of robbing people of their talent.

It's nothing less than 'Rhiannon', namely that awesome performance from 1976 when Stevie totally freaks out at the end.
