My god...listening to Bob Welch play "Coming Home" and especially "Night Watch" live is really amazing. The word "amazing" is not something I use often, probably because a certain demographic tends to use it quite often. This version of Fleetwood Mac is of course underrated, but it really demonstrates the jazzy, r&b's, even spacey (ie. phase shifting pedal effects with jazz octaves/chords) influence that Bob Welch had on the band.

That's almost the same set I saw them play in Long Beach Arena a couple of weeks after this one. Climax Blues Band opened the show. I have a few recordings from this tour, they didn't do "Bad Loser" very frequently. So this one is kind of special.

Shame there's so little video performance of the Bob Welch period but it didn't much happen after Led Zep & really kicked off with, yes, Paul McCartney's Wings who really created a show for 2 hours.

@@seltaeb9691 I see you working and on the surface, I agree with you. Can't shake the fact that Bob took over after an argument with Danny. He wanted Danny out of there. I do think they made good music together, but when you get rid of someone who did most of the work the product can suffer which it did.

The two albums they did together were, are, and always will be "must haves." My favorite lineup.
