As far as I'm concerned this IS Fleetwood Mac's best song, and Lindsay's guitar playing and solo performance is second to none!! Brings back so many great memories! I was in my early 20's back then 💜💜💜

Yeah...you can see her in the video singing right at him across the stage near the end. She's still pissed off and it comes through the music which is what makes it such a powerful song. ("you'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you ... I'll follow you down til' the sound of my voice will haunt you")

they were an actual couple from high school (?) to san jose state before forming their own group before joining FM in 1975.

The music unto itself is simply amazing, but when you consider all of the personal relationship trauma that existed within the band it only enhances the appreciation of their performances show after show. The band always placed their music ahead of themselves and however difficult it surely must have been they were able, for a very long time, to keep the band together. Lindsey finally bowed out in 1987, surprised he lasted that long with his significant other singing about their relationship up close and personal show after show.

Stevie & Lindsey were an item for many yrs. They broke up. She messed around with the drummer. The piano player & base player were once married , also. The album, Rumors, is just a 10/10 break up album. The best ever. Remember this.... Taylor Swift writes songs about her ex boyfriends & sings them. Stevie Nicks writes banger songs about her ex boyfriend & then makes him sing them.... NOW THAT IS AN AMAZING performer & musician. They will die being in love with each other, but from a distance.

So almost a year later, along comes I after binge watching reaction videos. I have stage 4 bone cancer and just came out of surgery a few days ago, binge watching is my new pain med LOL. I love that you close your eyes when you listen to the song, however, if you haven't done so yet, rewatch this beautiful song and keep your eyes open and watch the interaction between Stevie and Lindsey. Especially the moments of when there was almost eye contact, and then the BAM full on, won't take my eyes off you stare down. It gives me chills! You, my love, I am glad to be a new subscriber to your chanel. I'll be watching often!

My friend...we just saw her put a spell on him. The last 30 seconds or so you can see it in her eyes, and the repeating mantra "never get away" 3 times. The entire song is a spell on him. Saying that, i grew uo on Fleetwood and love them tremendously. Great band but we saw a curse I'm sure

Yes! Dolly and Stevie have similar voices. The nasal vibrato bordering on tremolo. Neither is classically trained. Their singing (when Stevie isn’t over singing) sounds effortless.
