I was at this concert the night they filmed it... To be in the audience was awesome. The lights and extremely loud sounds of Mic and that vest were one of the best concert experiences I have had. This film clip can't capture what it was like live.... It can only remind me of how awesome it really was

Clips from this were featured in the Hells Bells documentary I was forced to watch at Church Camp in the 90s. They didn't even go with the obvious stuff (Mick's high as a kite, Stevie's a witch), I think they just implied they were worshipping Satan by playing rock music. lolz

I watched this concert video so many times at Friendly's on break, and it's terrible. So little of it - including this clip - is actually filmed in front of an audience. It's "live" only in the sense that they're together on a stage. Nicks is the worst, though, her close-ups throughout the video are obviously not part of an actual concert.
@heddalee3 жыл бұрын
@Peter O'Connor Much of this is not live. Those Stevie close-ups, for example, throughout the video clearly aren't live.
@heddalee3 жыл бұрын
@Peter O'Connor Yes. Why is so hard for you to believe that footage was added? Even the continuity in this song's clip is poorly done.
@heddalee3 жыл бұрын
@Peter O'Connor Also, this is the second account you've used to comment on this video with in the last decade, and I am fairly certain that is illegal.
@heddalee3 жыл бұрын
@Peter O'Connor I heard you. I'm sorry this video is so difficult for you to decipher. Just b/c you were "there in person" does not mean you should crow that you know every moment in the video is live. Esp. b/c tjhat's not how it works.

Rick and Billy were just hirings but actually much better musicians than the rest of FM.
@victreebel1708 жыл бұрын
demetrymerkuloff what does that even mean, better musicians? you can't really compare a guitar player to a keyboardist. but you can compare them to Lindsey, and they're not nearly as innovative. and they sure as hell never wrote anything half as good as Go Your Own Way.
@yucchhiiowwee7 жыл бұрын
victreebel ...Your right...you can't compare guitar to keyboards. Also, you can't always compare musicians who play the same instruments if they play a different style of music. such as comparing Stevie Ray Vaughn to Jimmy Hendrix, but then we have to look at the fact that Jimmy was the pioneer and that Stevie was heavily inspired by Jimmy.

This was the tail end of the super era for "Fleetwood Mac". With Lindsey Buckingham's sudden exit from the group in 1987, the band still managed to hold it together and provide a great tour for "Tango In The Night" which was also a solid showcase for it's two newest members Billy Burnette & Rick Vito..... It's unfortunate that their onstage chemistry didn't translate to the studio as their subsequent albums were a commerical and critical disappointment.....
