Rick Vito on that slide guitar. I STILL contend in 2020 -------------that THIS was the very best FM line-up of them all ! --------------Burnette & vito really added so much . ----------------------WolfSky9

I saw FM 2 times on this tour : Oakland Coliseum 2 nights after this show, & in Denver, at Red Rocks. it was the best they ever sounded, & I for one, never missed LB--not for a second. Both Vito & Burnette were stellar additions. -----------------WolfSky9, 71 y/o

I don't know who did it, but the camera work and the composition of these Tango Tour series is absolutely fantastic work. It's probably the best possible conditions and the best possible performance imaginable made into magic.

Does anyone know what kind of hat or cap Stevie nicks uses ??
@jimhaslup12 жыл бұрын
all the ''close ups'' of any of her songs from this filmed concert were filmed LATER with seperate director and by herself ...lipsyncing....she was so concered about her appearance starting late 80's....very puffy (ive just kicked now im on KLONOPIN) look... and she hated it but vocally a great performance
@Wolfsky96 жыл бұрын
Mr Haslup : If you saw Stevie in '81, when she was at her most beautiful, this appearance would be even more jarring. she was easily 15-20 Lbs over her ideal weight of 107 , & she WAS puffy. ---------------WolfSky9, 72 y/o

.. Him, do you work for Stevie? Or maybe Bill Graham? Are you involved with the band in some way that you would know these things?
@fundies24 жыл бұрын
@@yucchhiiowwee When you see the end credits of the show it states who shot Stevies close ups. I don't know if you can find that anywhere here on KZbin but we old time fans remember seeing it when we had or rented the video way back when. She was the only member of the band to have seperate close ups. Stevie has stated that Klonopin caused her to gain weight and she ballooned up to 171 lbs on a 5 ft 1 frame. She started gaining the weight at around 1985 and she was still doing coke at that time so i think the boozing was catching up as well as coke bloat. She wasn't the young thing she was a few years prior and it is harder to keep weight off as you get older. that seemed to screwed with her ego and caused some major insecurities.

@@fundies2 By the time of the Mirage tour she started a 15 year smoking habit which did permanent damage to her voice. You can hear the difference on the Dance version of Gold Dust Woman.

Um Stevie's "signature look" doesn't always include this particular style of hat. Trust me, I've been a fan for 20 years and seen her live countess times - I know her look. I was simply implying that I don't find this style of hat particularly attractive. I did not miss any point.
@betukoso16 жыл бұрын
they changed the sound of the drums.. is a 80's sound...i hate that sound with i dont know, like an echo..all the songs in the 80's have it. sorry for my english xD i speak spanish...
@SophiesInsanity14 жыл бұрын
I prefer her singing this in the 70s rather than this. It has the awful microphone echo on it and I dunno, it sounds odd and I don't feel it suits it. Still great but not quite as good.

I never liked those particular style of hats Stevie wore during that period. This however, is a great performance of GDW. "Not again baby, not again".

IMHO, Stevie looked terrible; she had added 20 Lbs, on her 5'4" frame, & the drug use was affecting her badly. ---------In her '81 White Winged Dove tour, she was at her most beautiful. The drugs had not caught up with her yet, & she was at her 107 Lbs. -ideal weight. -------------------------WolfSky9

She had successfully gone sober in 86, but was prescribed a tranquilizer to keep her away from coke. It made her a bit of a zombie, peaking around 92 or 93.

wow what a chauvinistic asshole. she’s there for you to hear her sing not for you to gawk at. if you want some tiny toothpick virgin looking bitch go to a victoria secret fashion show, if you want real talent and a damn good show go to a stevie nicks concert.
