If you lift the whole ployi base out of the box there is a large white envelope with all the documents i side my friend. You also get papers showing you the function keys for your sound on the loco any problems let me know! Have a blast my friend 👍🏻😜

Greetings, Thanks for posting the review, I have been eyeballing this set and had a couple questions: Do you have any thoughts on the Z21 DCC system that is included? In addition to the steam locomotive and rolling stock the fact that it was already setup for DCC made it pretty attractive, since a lot of train sets come DC only. I also went through some of your other videos and noted that you mentioned having a lot of quality issues with the Fleischmann locomotives and had to exchange quite a few items. Should I expect getting a working engine in this kit to be very hit or miss? Thank you for any feedback. Cheers! -JB

Hi JB, thanks for posting on my channel. If you in the UK scograil can get the sets if your in the EU you will be able to purchase one from a hobby shop where they can test the loco. I had to return a set as the tender on the loco had a warped wheel which caused it to wobble. As its a premium set I expect them to be perfect if not I return them. Fleischmann have got better over the last year for sure. Fleischmann do both DC & DCC set this is a DCC personally I feel sooner or later they will discontinue DC. The quality of the BR 44 has been top notch the tender issues is rare. Ive had one other like that around four years ago. With regards to what you get DCC wise I sold all my z21 and controller as I have a few from previous sets. I just eBay them. I have around six box sets form them which Ive sold odds and ends just wanted the rolling stock from them. Depending how serious you are there are many companies doing n but I personally never touch most as they have quality issues, but thats just me you might be lucky mixing manufacturers stuff. If you are starting from scratch then Id get the black Z21 and you can also use other DCC manufacturers item they will be compatible with them. Be warned in advance this is not a cheap hobby and its addictive too. I have over 100 locos and god know how many coaches and wagons. Z21 allows you to run 100 at once. Im planning on building a modular system to run the lot in the coming years. Hope this info goes a little way to helping you with your decision on what to buy good luck and welcome to the hobby. I am actually across the pond and had emailed a Fleishmann importer the other day with some questions about the set's compatibility with DCC Systems and Decoders common in North America. If they get back to me I will check if they would smoke test the loco before shipping and confirm their return policy. The other direction I am considering is Kato, from my research they have a reputation for being pretty bullet proof, though I would need to pick up a DCC system separately and install decoders/sound in the particular locos I am interested in. The fact that this set was DCC equipped right out the box is what caught my eye, in addition to the snazzy black and red schemes of German steam locomotives. Mate you are never bothering me. Thats a hard question to answer pal. The reason being it depends on the size and amount of track you have including accessories. For example how many points, or uncoupling electrified. Signals and layout lights. Need I ho on and thats before you throw on any locos or coaches with interior lighting. Fortunately the system will show when its straining and you can buy booster 10806 which Fleischmann sell. So I tend to use additional power supply for digital devices which run separate things like z21 light booster 10805. There are so many items which you can use on your layout dcc wise, I could be here until next year going through them all. You can daisy chain stuff too. @@ngauging Thank you 👍 It looks like with the light booster, you need to isolate the track. But fleischmann only do insulating rail joiners for track without bedding. Is there a way around this? Have you ever tried the fleischmann track without bedding, any good? Last questions for today, I promise 👍

Ich habe früher sowohl deutsche als auch englische Videos gemacht, wenn Sie in meiner Bibliothek nachschauen. Aufgrund meiner derzeitigen Gesundheit musste ich die Videos jedoch schneiden und nur eines erstellen, das kombiniert wird. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie das nicht hören möchten, aber es ist sehr schwierig, separate Videos zu erstellen. Sollte sich mein Gesundheitszustand verbessern, werde ich in Zukunft wieder beide Videos machen, da ich gerne Deutsch spreche und es sehr vermisse. Danke für dein Verständnis.
