Mr. Fleming, your video's are part of the reason that KZbin is so invaluable. Makes me wonder why I even bother with cable. Perhaps if I cancel my cable subscription then one day I may be a little closer to being able to afford one of your yachts.

Sir Tony Fleming. Once again, I thank you. I shivered to the imagined "icy fingers of winter" and stood in awe at the "sparsely inhabited" Canadian High Arctic: its waters so blue and its snow covered mountains with low lying cloud hovering above them. I marveled most at the music and your voice, both hauntingly beautiful, when you stood at the foot of Devon Island..."The towering bastion of rock reminds us again of our insignificance!"

THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL AND AMAZING TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY I HAVE EVER SEEN!. THANK YOU. - I watch all your Venture Boats trips (Aleutians, Alaska, British Columbia, Europe, Ireland, England, California, Idaho, New York). All videos are properly edited and perfectly presented. All landscapes, scenes, nature, blue sky, grey sky, deep blue sea make me feel so good. It is very soothing and entertaining. Whenever I am stressed out in my life, I always go to watch your sailing videos and it comfort me a lot. - I enjoy watching all your videos (on my 72" flat screen TV - SONY) all time, every weekend from my home in Los Angeles. Even though I am not fortunate like you to circumnavigate the globe and travel on own boat, your sea journey and wonderful voyage videos have brought many delights and good feeling to me. We all ordinary people are grateful to you (Gratitude) for your generous and wonderful presentations. Thank you.

Magnificent. I've always been enchanted by remote and desolate places. I don't believe I'd want to brave the cold being I already reside in Minnesota. Our winters are fierce and long enough. However, just seeing these lands even on film is special. After six years in New Mexico, too, yes, it is a gift to be a part of a vast land where we are indeed insignificant in the overall scheme of life.

Yes, beauty, Aurorae, healthy, cold clear air, plenty of snow; some such line was no doubt fed to those unlucky Inuit as they were forcibly packed off 1000 miles north to satisfy Canadian territorial ambitions. Human history is replete with such sad stories. A wonderful video, but the expulsion of the native people is my abiding memory of it.

@FlemingYachts4 жыл бұрын
I wish I could answer your question but all the music used in my videos is purchased, one track at a time, from one of the sites which offer copyright licenced music which plays on a computer and is not generally available or playable on normal music devices. It usually takes literally hours of searching to find something suitable so i'm pleased you found it so.
@interestingspagetti4 жыл бұрын
@@FlemingYachts Thank you for your reply. I was guessing licienced from spirit productions. I did find one track, but not the one I was looking for. If you can ever remember it, i would love to know the tittle track. Absolutely awesome video's. Did you edit them yourself?
@FlemingYachts4 жыл бұрын
@@interestingspagetti I buy most of my music tracks from Shockwave-Sound.com or Pond5. To find out which tracks I used i have to go back to the Final Cut Pro editing version - if I still have it. The media has to go through two conversions to make it acceptable for You Tube. I do everything myself - from acquisition to exhibition. If you want to know more, go to Flemingyachts.com, click on You Tube red arrow at top right of home page and look for "How I make my videos". When I have time I will try to look for the Final Cut versions.
@FlemingYachts4 жыл бұрын
I found the Final Cut version of this project which was created in 2016. The piece of music you asked about is called Blessing and I tracked down the source to Shockwave-Sound.com I believe you also asked about the source of some other music but I seem to have mislaid my notes (as usual) so if you have other questions, let me know. The best way to contact is to leave a message on the Fleming Yachts website.

Wow, wow, wow, Sir Flemming, I'm 56 years old, in 1978 I was in Rankin Inlet, NWT for 18 months, and I can tell you by what I see, climate is changing and I thing it's dramatic. But we all want or IPad of the year and Iphone 7. This what we call economical growth. But do I want you to throw away your 4K camera ? The answer is no ! Please ! I have faith in human. Sir Flemming, if your ever need ''Un mousaillon passionné'' I'm all in. Thank you to be what we know about you and for your generosity. (Excuse my french)
@MrGulf46 жыл бұрын
Didn't see a whole lot of climate change in this video. Remember, 1978 was nearing the end of a prolonged cold period. Satellites photos only began around this time. British explorers were all through this area during the 1800's, not in Russian Icebreakers, but wooden sail boats. Greely and Nares sailed to much higher latitudes during this period suggesting that the 1800's were closer to today's temperatures (maybe warmer) than to those in the 70's.

I was in Resolute in early August of 2002 and remember standing at the edge of the shoreline looking out in the distance at the ice pack. Close to land there is open water. Further out in the open ocean the ice is thick.
