We travel from Haines to the small town of Pelican where, by chance, we meet up with other long distance travelers and reflect on what we learn along the way.

There is just something awe inspiring about craggy, snowcapped mountains surrounded by coniferous forests. Your videos just hit the spot for me. Amazing as usual.

Tony, thank you so much for sharing this with everyone. I hope that someday we might meet and I can shake your hand and thank you in person for sharing all of your travels. Chris, just saying that your vessel and drone piloting is amazing and - DANG - you do amazing stuff. :-) I will, most likely, never be able to do this kind of travel. I am thankful that Tony and his team can allow us to come along for the ride and experience a bit of what they can see.

So much better to travel around and see this area from a boat at sea level than a float plane. Keep it going for me please.

Your sailing videos are amazing and inspiring. It give me emotional comfort and relief from stress and strain we have every day life. Thank you. I want to sail on a wonderful voyage like you did. By the way - your recent videos have too much red color. It does not look natural. Please reduce "Hue" & "Saturation" feature in your video editor software when editing video. Anyway - we love your sailing videos. Thank you. We feel good when watching your beautiful sailing journey videos.

Comment stolen from someone else from another sailing channel but it rings true. It is so refreshing not to see japanese knifes, hello fresh, AG1 or some other product placement just well edited quality content that takes the viewer on a journey into a land of make believe. Thank you very much for taking us on your adventures and asking nothing in return a true class act 🤌

This is beautiful and thank you again for your video. I have a question if the glacier has retreated, many miles and melted I thought the water would be deeper. Can someone help me understand? Many blessings to all.
@FlemingYachts9 ай бұрын
Not being a geologist, I cannot provide an answer why some retreating glaciers leave land in front of them while others leave deep water. However, you can find out quite a lot on the internet by simply by searching for " Brady Glacier". If you watch my earlier video "Reflections 1" there is some drone footage of Baird Glacier which also has extensive land in front of its retreat. In that case a lot of water ran out from beneath the glacier. All glaciers leave a moraine at the point they once reached. There the water is quite shallow and you have to be careful. In the case of Tracy Arm this moraine is over 20 miles downstream from the current glacier face.
