I still remember watching this draft as a kid. I was a huge Ricky Williams fan. When the Colts drafted Edge, I remember how stunned everyone was. They panned over to Ricky Williams and he said “Damn”. I couldn’t believe it. But after that, I started watching Edge and learning about who he was and he became my favorite player. Good video.

One of the biggest mistakes ever, Ricky Williams was amazing and it’s a shame that he had to be a work horse for teams with bad QBs in the Saints and Dolphins which caused him great mental stress and took away his love of the game….the colts would have been such a better team with Williams and he was definitely the better talent

Edge is my all time favorite back. He deserves so much more recognition. He was a huge part of why Peyton was so good. Plus, he was and is such a good good role model. He has raised multiple talented kids who he has molded into incredible kids who are well behaved and extremely talented. Normally that stuff goes to a kids head but he taught them right.

Great work FlemLo. in my opinion this may be your best video. I am a little biased as i lived this in real time. Me and my buds were so on board with Edge over Ricky. we lived in Indiana just north of Indianapolis. I am from the south like you and was new to the area. so we bought a ticket package for the colts in the old RCA dome. 4 home games in 1999, the 13-3 year, wow. got playoff tickets and was at the game when Eddie George broke our heart in their superbowl run. converted to season tickets the next year, then the two years after that was in the touchdown club (between the 40's, private eat and drink lounges etc.....) it was so cheap, but me and my wife had no kids back then and were young. what a time. saw some amazing games and Edge was the engine of that O, Peyton was the driver and leader, but edge made it all happen. thanks FlemLo, you the man, cant wait till you get to 1 mill subs, you deserve it.
