Lol! When he pulls the trigger we all know it's going to go off and he's going to discover that it's a real gun, and yet somehow it's still funny when it happens! XD

What I love about this show is they make everything so realistic. Like the criminal code. Fletcher didn't betray Reg here. The fact is he probably saved his life. And Len is also a good egg didn't think about the reward just wanted to make it easier for there mate. My father in law said porridge was realistic especially the attitude between the screws and the cons. Wasn't so much of a personal hatred for most of them. As most were just trying to make a living. But he said they was always looking for a way to be sly and to stick 2 fingers up to the establishment.

The greatest sitcom ever and big Ronnie's finest hour. Why the hell isn't the BBC broadcasting this prime time? It's far superior to anything they've produced in decades! 🙄

It would only show how weak their current offerings are.

This is a cut version, in the original when Fletch puts his finger in the barrel Tinker says 'if I pull the trigger this gun will blow up in my face' and Fletch replies 'yeah and it aint gonna do my finger much good either' Presumably cut so stupid people don't try it! Can't find the original clip anywhere on the net sadly.

Hey BBC, Why don't you ever show the spin off of Porridge Going Straight?
@n9bjj8712 жыл бұрын
They only made 6 episodes and then poor Richard Beckinsale died of a heart attack in his sleep.

I don't know if this is just me, but I wonder if "Bulk" from "SuperTed", was in any way, shape or form, based on "Fletcher" from Porridge".?
