I found Fletcher randomly. A Insta page I follow featured her song "I Think I'm Growing" and I went to listen to it but accidentally listened to Girl of My Dreams and immediately loved it. I then went back and listened to her previous EPs then her debut album and have been a fan ever since and was highly anticipating this album and it didn't disappoint. Ego Talking is definitely a favorite off the album and the guitar riffs on Doing Better are sick 🤟

I've been following Fletcher for years now, and this album is by far my favorite of all her work so far. "Crush," "Pretending," and "Joyride" are my top 3 faves from the album, but every song is great 😊

I also came out a few years ago in my 20s and that’s pretty much how I found Fletcher too! I love super boppy ones like doing better but also a lyrical emotional girl at the same time too lol ❤

This was really fun to listen to! I really find your comments very insightful. I stayed up release night to listen to it all and it has hit me hard. I haven’t stopped listening to it. I’m a 55 year old woman who has been married for 33 years. I met this girl, 22 years younger than I, friend of a friend, and she pursued me mercilessly. I will preface this, in the end in turns out she was very unhealthy, but of course I didn’t know that at the time. To say she has messed with my life, heart, and sense of self is an understatement. I’m currently on year 2 of constant just pure mean harassment. Threats, intimidation, shaming, name calling, you name it. My self worth is in splinters. But at first, that love bomb stage, I was a mess of emotions. I will never know if that person I knew was authentic but theres a version of her in my head that i will always love and miss, even if it wasn’t real. When I heard this album, every part of me hopes she listens to it and it sinks in, because every lyric of many songs she’s going to relate to. I tried so hard to find peace but it’s not possible, she just refuses. I’ve given up, and working on healing and have come a long way. I absolutely love the album, and want to listen constantly, but I’m not even sure that’s good for my healing, because it pulls me right back in to it all. Cari is an absolute brilliant artist in all ways. Her lyrics, her vocals, her relationship to her audience. I discovered her from the songs I was sent by the girl, and of all the songs I’ve heard before this album, I’d say she’s absolutely hit it out of the park and the growth in her in every way is so evident. I’d love for her to write a follow up album from all the girls shes singing about perspectives. Like a response album, from the woman who loved a man, from the woman she’s pretending with. it would be so interesting to hear the other side of every story. Thank you for this! You seem like a really cool human. 😊

she's genuinely my favourite artist. her lyrics are always so raw and in the moment and really paint a picture. and her voice is so diverse. to be honest, im not a fan of her rock lean, but i love love love crush and her softer songs
