I had the extra (ingrown) eyelashes on my Shih Tzu removed with laser, I recommend a specialised vet but the surgery is not major. And it improved the situation 100% on my dog.

A wooden floor in a bathroom is a no-no. Even the waterproof stuff has no staying power. You'd be better of using marine ply to create uniformity in thr floor and the tiling using flexible adhesive and grout. Take from someone who'se ripped two wooden bathroom floors.
