Arsenal's level? Since when? Didn't realise they had achieved 90 plus points on several occasions over the last five seasons like Liverpool have. Or have gone on 18 game winning streaks like Liverpool have. Or been unbeaten at home over an entire season. Or won the league title or Champion's League. They've come second TWICE. Only one of those seasons did they seriously threaten Man City. Liverpool absolutely destroyed City and everyone else by an enormous margin during their last league title season. The current Arsenal team don't know what high level is. Man City won the title last season while half asleep.

Its crazy how people forget that one of Liverpool's downfall was because they were in the hunt for 4 trophies right up until April. It stretched the squad to its limit. I think a lot of people underestimate just what a good coach can do. Everyone is saying we are falling short of city and Aresnal, because of a lack of signings. Does anyone remember how many injuries we had start of last season? Im not saying we couldnt do with one or two fresh faces but Im certainly not writting off our chances of silverware.. The change of style and system is going to help is immensely

The only thing I hear everyone saying is, Liverpool need one or two signings. I hope you could name the players out there that are available of are better than those in those needed positions at LFC. A team challenging for titles signs players that are at the level of those already at the club or little better and not just for the sake of it. Would it be better to have new signings? Off course. Do you have to sign when the right players aren’t available? Off course not.

We have a very good squad still and I think Arne is a good replacement for Klopp and while signings don't always make you better (there are a lot of recent examples of that), there's no doubt in my mind that we will struggle at some point not having a proper number 6 that can play the way Slot wants us to play as well as not having enough cover in certain positions (because it's almost impossible to avoid injuries with the amount of games we will have). No Liverpool fan is expecting for us to be like other teams that constantly buy players, we do need a bit more depth if we want to compete in all fronts though and that means 2 or ideally 3 more signings. CB and LB or at least one hybrid player LCB/LB, good CDM and potentially cover for Salah (RW). That is all we really need right now from the market as well as sorting out the contracts of Trent, Virgil and Salah.

Ppl forget soo fast that LFC were on top of the table with 2-3 weeks to go last season… this all while having almost half their squad out to injury at diff points for huge chunks of the season. Ppl always real quick to write them off but have forgotten the quality they still have… all I’m saying. Do think they need 1-2 signings. Imagine if their owners actually cared about winning. Kinda crazy.

Bradley almost gave away a goal I do feel sorry for Trent when other players make mistakes they never get talked about but when Trent makes one in a game everyone talks about it also did you not see Trents amazing pass to Salah for first goal? He was good throughout the match better in 2nd half than he was First half but everyone was poor first half though lets be honest

Slot's tenure is due to be harder than Klopp's, reason being the latter started when the team was struggling and the former finds the team at full throttle. Had Man U being patient with coaches after Fergie, it could have being a strong competitor by now. Manager rotation due to need to maintain levels is never a good cause of action. A car does not start running from 150 mph from stationary. It starts from zero just like a wheelbarrow would do.

Actually Liverpool need not buy any player because Klopp already rebuilt it before he left. Klopp's foresight really top class because he bought all the right type of players Liverpool needs. Many a team hv made the mistake of signing the wrong players for their clubs. This season should see Arsenal again challenging City for the title. As for Liverpool, if they can get into the top 4, it should be considered a good season as Arne would still need at least a full season just to bed in and implement his style of play.

How did he manage to cement his place at right back, if he was this defensive liability. Doesn't even make sense. He didn't have a great attacking contribution initially, so what was he actually doing in the team. Think you've allowed the likes of Neville to taint your memory. He was fine defensively up until the time he decided he could no longer be bothered and wanted to be a midfielder.

You are wrong. Liverpool do not have enough cover defensively. They need a CDM and at lease one more Defender. Slot need to be supported.
