People need to realize Ten Hag only has 1 year remaining on his contract. It makes zero sense to concurrently pay two coaching staffs with Ten Hag and his coaching staff only having a year left on their deals. People are so fixated on Ten Hag getting fired that they aren’t considering United’s financial situation and the fact that they have a core group of players on long term contracts on massive wages who will refuse to leave the club…again. For the amount of coverage TalkSport give to United, they do an absolutely shambolic job of talking about the very real practical realities of United’s financial situation.

I don’t think players will refuse to leave, they are just refusing to cut their wages. United has to be realistic and stop agreeing potential transfers that rely on the players’ charity. If that means dropping the transfer fee by 30m so the new club can afford to match the wages, or if it means to just pay off the player directly, they have to do it if they are serious about moving players on. But so many football supporters will buy into the false narrative of the greedy footballers who are holding their clubs hostage.

I think the majority of Uniteds players are uncoachable and have shown that over many seasons and managers. They only seem to be able to play basic counter attack, kick and run football and have thrown multiple managers under the bus to protect themselves. Tuchels history of falling out with management really goes against hi. As well as not winning the league with PSG and Beyern, the easiest leagues to win with the best sides in them.
