I love it Jeff. Thanks for reviewing and sharing! I picked up the Workpros a few years ago to do some work inside my own garage and other than the pretty finish getting scratched and nicked from time to time they’re definitely worth the $30 (thirty freaking dollars!!) that I spent on them. I might check out the Duratech brand when I need a longer wrench. They’re also (VERY) affordable!

Most professional sets are complete, it is mostly the lower cost sets that are incomplete. You tend to get what you pay for...
@brandonm605219 күн бұрын
@Roger_Icce the one thing that really only affects me is even snap forgets 1/4" wrenches and starts at 5/16. Or sets will be 5/16-3/4. I want 1/4-1 at least even outside regular combo wrenches. Tell me I'm a whiner without telling me I'm a whiner.

I just don't get it why grown men get their panties in a bunch over skipping sizes. You do know that some sizes are pretty much the same size or very very close. I just don't get it why grown men cry so much anymore. Sound worse than...... Well I'm not going to say 😂😂😂

The only flex head ratchet set I have both Metric and SAE are the Duratech. I like them but I want a main set. Looks like it’s between your top three. Williams, Olsa, and Icon. I really like the 6 point but being able to service and back off the back drag is super appealing. I may have to wait for that HF 40% coupon.

Only ones I would even consider is the last ones (Williams, Icon, Tekton, even Olsa). Even for DIY, that's the minimum of what I'd consider passable. SK and Duratrash are the exact same. I wouldn't doubt if the pro-stormer, workpro, and Jaeger all come from the same manufacturer.

I think I would go with the ICON wrenches as they can be easily exchanged as I have a Harbor Freight in the neighboring town. The downside is that I have to don my fire suit and strap on my Bell Mag 4 helmet because of the idiots on the road in that town. 🤣🤣

I have Icon non-flex ratcheting wrenches, and some other Icon wrenches...but in general I like Capri wrenches better. Shopping on line one day I found a set of Milwaukee Flexing ratcheting wrenches, both metric and SAE on sale for 50% off at Home Depot a couple of years ago, maybe a year ago. I wasn't looking for a set, but the price was so good I couldn't pass them up. I don't much like Milwaukee hand tools, they are heavy and many times awkward in your hands... and always overpriced... but these are nice and have the anti-slip in the open end (Ha...not sure where else it would be). Anyway, they are a nice set of wrenches, a little on the short side for my personal tastes but over all a nice set of wrenches. They have an I beam style handle. I think I paid about $170 maybe $180 for the 30-piece set. I haven't used them all that much, but I like them enough that it sticks in my mind as a really great deal.
