The Mamba 60 paired with the Dualsky XM5050 530KV motor spinning a Flex/Dualsky 16x7E carbon prop! This is a phenomenal combo and really brings a whole new element of capability to the Mamba!

This is totally insane! Can you leave some video with no music next time? I would like to hear what the plane is doing during some of these tricks! :) Awesome stuff!

2:41 That crankshaft to roll into knife edge is bananas. (I mean the whole thing is sick.)

I thought the amount of inertia on the knife edge spin was way more impressive.

Jase I'm wanting to get my first plane I found a carbon cub go with that or something else? Anything you recommend I have a years worth of ground rc experience have a 18th scale to 1/5 scale.

Carbon Cub is a good choice but first log some hours in a flight sim and you'll be fine. When you crash remember it's part of learning.

It’s not a bad choice, but there are better ones out there. 1. It doesn’t have much if dihedral in the wings (wings angling upward search dihedral wings on google if that didn’t make sense) what that does is when the plane banks one wing will be more parallel to the ground and create more lift allowing to somewhat self right itself, it’s not gonna go from 45 degrees to level, but after your turns if you over or under correct to get it back to level it will usually get it level. It’s really helpful when you’re first starting 2 it’s a taildragger, planes need to be slightly pitched nose up when they land, and that puts the tail wheel close to the ground, and taildraggers have really weird ground handling, so if the rear wheel touches the ground too soon it can do some weird things and for a beginner trying to learn how to land is complicated enough without adding that. That being said it’s still not a bad choice, it’s a high wing so the center of gravity is hanging below the wings that create your lift, which creates a more stable plane. Plenty of people have started with carbon cubs and had tons of success, but there are other choices. I would get a simulator and try a couple styles out, plus rc cars are very different from rc planes, so it gets you some practice. Realflight is great because it’s horizon so most of the planes they sell are in it or are available as expansions, including a couple carbon cubs, the apprentice, great planes avistar, and a bunch of others are all in the stock version of Realflight. plus you can download planes from the Realflight swap pages. There is also the aerofly simulator which is supposed to be good for 3D aerobatics, but I haven’t used it and I don’t know their plane library. Something else to consider, a lot of people start with epo foam planes because they are more durable and cheaper than balsa, but balsa is lighter by generally a lot, so balsa tends to be a little easier to land. Flex innovations is great because most of their epo planes (not sure about the twin otter and the Cessna 170) have hollow epo foam with a plywood sub frame, which is a really happy medium. The issue is they don’t have a real trainer the Cessna 170 is similar to a carbon cub, but it has flaps (needs at least one extra radio channel, but two is better), is about 30 inches larger than the horizon hobby carbon cub, and a lot more money. Larger and lighter planes are generally easier to fly and land, but it doesn’t have dihedral and is a traildragger, but just want to put that option out there.

Kill the music.

Please reduce or get rid of the noise (music) Jase... I love watching your videos, but the constant racket makes it so much less enjoyable. I would rather hear the real sound of the plane, even tho it is electric... plese... it makes the videos so hard to watch. If you have to have music, if it were quieter in the background it would be less annoying. Greetings from Down Under
