Flex Ventique G2 60E Pro PNP Assembly

Yea, not sure what neomatrix3612 means about the quality of their foam planes? I have both the 10e and 60e G2 RV8’s. The 60e Cap 232, and the 10e Yak55, all from Flex. These planes are easily the best foam planes I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been in the hobby for almost 20 years. As far as their balsa planes, I can’t speak to. The only balsa planes I own are from Extreme Flight, and they are, without a doubt, hands down the highest quality aerobatic balsa planes available, anywhere. Jase used to be sponsored by Extreme Flight, until very recently when he switched to Flex. This plane looks almost identical to an Extreme Flight plane. I’d imagine it’s of the same quality. I’d like to see some specs of the motor and servos. See how they compare to the Dualsky Racing motors and the T-Motor combos that come with the Extreme Flight Receiver Ready/Plug n Plays. The Skywalker ESC is ok, but I would much prefer the AM116 from T-Motor, or the Platinum Pro from Hobbywing.

Thanks love the build video, flying, music and great attitude all-around. So glad to have first rate class act leader in this hobby and yet humble. I just got the Mamba 10 G2 after seeing your video. I am a relative beginner 3d pilot and I absolutely love it, such a joy to fly. I will be keeping my eye on Flex and already see 2-3 more Flex Innovations planes I saw you fly that are now on my wish list.

Only flown gas planes nitro and real gas , might have to try electric i guess .

Jase, explain further your statement that a plane that size doesnt necessarily need gyro stabilization. Does that mean you like it for larger planes? or what is the size that you personally recommend gyro stabilization is what Im getting at... thanks!

Jase doesn't use gyros period. Most guys myself included use gyros mainly for wind compensation. Takes out the wiggles and makes the plane more solid feeling. This airplane and many others don't need gyros at all. You almost always have the option to shut it off no matter what stabilization you choose. Hope this helps you

Aura is pre-installed and pre-programmed for PNP. I was wanting to clarify that the reason this is included is not just for the stabilization option, but rather to supply the proper rates and mixing setups out of the box. I choose to fly this at high rates with the gyro off.

There is truth to this comment. I purchased a Mamba 10 and the quality was very poor for the price I paid. I even had to modify the power system days after purchasing to get the performance I wanted. Overall it's a great plane and flys fantastic. I wouldn't do it again unfortunately.

This airframe (along with the rest of the Flex balsa lineup) is manufactured at one of, if not the most high quality ARF factories in the world. They have decades of experience and are invested heavily into this type of airplane. Regarding the power setup, I am very confident that this setup will provide the power you need for performance. This all embodies the ideology behind the 60E "Pro" designation.

I just got Mamba 10 G2. First plane I have gotten from Flex and I don't see what you are claiming. For the price it is easily the best flying and overall quality plane I own. Totally satisfied Flex customer here so far.

I totally agree!!! Foam Planes are not ‘perfect’, but the Flex foam planes (I have the Mamba 10 G2) are really strong, flexible , for not so good landings, and repair is SO MUCH EASIER than balsa planes. For me, BEST plane for the $$
