How does it fly without the gyro? Does it still have the 3 components?

Just got this model, setting it up. Binding to my Spectrum DX9 went well but having problems configuring the 3 flight modes to my liking. The software you offer is not very easy to use. Where can I find and download a config file?

That knife edge figure eight was pretty darn good. The plane looks very capable. About the flight controller I heard, "You've got the three settings you need for the flying you're gonna do." That scares me. I've pulled or wanted to pull every AS3X I ever bought - usually radio replacement. Hopefully the Aura was designed to be easily switched off.

mickvk I found this: “Aura 8 connects via USB to your windows Tablet or PC, ensuring you have full adjustment of all settings and the latest firmware updates from the Flex Innovations Team.” I imagine that means you can also turn the stabilisation off completely.

Super easy to set up on a 3 position switch. I have all of mine setup High gain Low gain and off.

I love the detail in this video about the stabilisation. It sounds like an all rounder aerobatics plane. I haven’t been a fan of switching between flight modes too often during flight but is that how the pros fly?

I do not possess the skill set that Josh does but as I understand it, yes, he does switch modes in-flight. The right mode for the right maneuver.
