While the guys were down in Florida they stopped by and burnt a couple battery pack with Flex innovations. Bixler and Quique Somenzini take the Flex Innovations Cap232 for a spin during a tornado watch!

I've owned several Flex Innovations airplanes with my latest being the Yak 55. When no one else is flying because of the wind, the Yak is up in the air doing amazing maneuvers. 20+ MPH winds are great with the ability to hang in the air, blast forward, climb vertical followed by a flat spin as the plane scoots downwind while spinning, then bring it in for a zero ground speed landing.

Quique is the guy who designed the E-Flite Brio 10. I picked one up a couple years ago at an auction, and it flies amazing, I love it.

Its soooo true what you said about the wind. I used to be very bummed out and not fly when it was windy, but then one day I watched some birds out playing in the wind and having a blast so I changed my attitude. Now I love flying in the wind, landing can be tricky but if the wind is strong enough you can do harrier style landings. Great Video thanks for posting

You guys are AWESOME you guys have inspired me to get back into the hobby i have 6 planes, the Artizan, P51 Mustang, Extra 260 and the Umx Cessna, Umx Yack 54. And i enjoy flying all of them!!! Brings new challenges for each plane and myself. Thank you, ive been flying for 3 years and my favorite thing to do is 3D flights and i also have the RF8 simulator and it really does help. Also a shout out to Horizon Hobby for having such AWESOME people and events. Holy smokes! This is my model Aviation clubs flying field! What you do not see on camera is this is in the very back of the trash dump in Venice Florida but it is a very very nice place to fly with good weather year-round I love my field!

That’s the guy who designed the firebird stratos! I still have my firebird I bought it when it first came out. The electronics burned out in it years ago. I am going to get it flying again soon.

Great video as always. I have an eflite carbon z splendor. I'm my opinion it's the best foamy horizon ever had. Fast and flys like a Ferrari in the air . I hope qq designs something like it with flex.

I think it would be the perfect beginner plane really. Once you get some altitude, you can start yanking the sticks in any direction you want and see what it does. Let go of the sticks and it will probably right itself. i guess the landing part could be tricky for a beginner. hand the radio to someone else to land it... lol
