@@lovattco Yeah i'm trying to rig exactly the same layout as what's in the video. And using the fill function, it keeps cutting off layers etc. It's not easy to add your own footage or images. Just wondering when this tutorial will be coming out Zack? Would be useful if you had a template people could download as well.

@@markphillipsmotiondesign Templates won't work, as all of the values and setup will vary drastically depending on the actual layers you're trying to set up. Generally, though, I can't give a timeline. Releasing these scripts (& building all of the assets) is a side interest around my full-time work; just waiting for a bit of a mental break before diving back in!

Could be done a few ways! None of this is related to Flex, though; all just basic AE usage: 1. Single shape layer • Make a new shape layer • Add multiple paths or rectangles • Link each rectangle/path to one of the grid controllers • Set its fill / stroke / etc to look the way you want 2. Multiple shape layers • Create a new rectangle shape layer for each grid controller • Set its fill / stroke / etc to look the way you want 3. Using Flex controllers directly • Make them not guide layer • Set its fill / stroke / etc to look the way you want

Yep! Layers are layers. There's also a trial you can download to try it out for yourself.
