hah - I used your terraform idea with the calcs effect and the geolayers plugin to have terraforming look with a controllable view to keyframe around the earth. This was only really possible with expensive 3d plugins till CC Ball Action was updated. I can't believe I hadn't thought to use it before. Good man

Since that course, which really helped me learn a lot about AE, I dug into Blender trying to do some things I couldn’t figure out in AE, and as much as I love AE, the node system in Blender really helps me visually understand the routing of these FX much better. @jake: thanks for the noise randomizer script! unfortunately, i don't get it to work (on mac OS 15.2, AE 2025). could it be that it doesn't work with other languages? i'm using the german version of AE. also i can't dock it. thanks for your help.
@JakeInMotionАй бұрын
It's possible that there's a language issue. I'll look into that. Make sure you're installing it in the script UI folder, and not just the scripts folder. That would prevent you from docking it.
@beatcАй бұрын
@@JakeInMotion cheers for the quick response, jake. right, UI script folder, i did not do that, thanks. as for the first issue: i changed my AE language to english, and now the randomizer indeed works. so the language is definitely the issue.
