great approach, however, one question, we are configuring a site 2 site vpn tunnel with a dynamic i address on R2, so we didn't specify a tunnel destination under the virtual template, however, we created a key ring with the static ip of R2 (which is supposed to be dynamic), can you please clarify?

Is it true to say that EIGRP bought the tunnel up? I believe the SVTI interface on the spoke/client will automatically initiate the tunnel once it is fully configured with or without a routing protocol as per design. That is a core difference between crypto maps and route based VPN's, crypto maps require traffic to bring up the tunnel, route based do not.

Nice video , what about FlexVPN spoke-to-spoke (DMVPN) and EasyVPN labs?

@Jon Jaramillo I'm guessing it's c7200-advipservicesk9-mz.152-4.S2.bin based on the boot screen.

Yes it's because of interesting traffic based on the dynamic routing protocol . If you are using static routing protocol manually we have to sent traffic to destination to start the vpn session .for example ping command. But when you use dynamic routing protocol multicast address initiate the traffic automatically. because of that automatic vpn session also initiated and tunnel comes up automatically Khawar Butt please correct if i am wrong Khawar Butt
